Chrome OS is steadily improving as an OS for touchscreen use, with more flexible on-screen keyboards and some interface improvements, and it’s particularly good if you get a model with a stylus or a pen. Unfortunately you don’t get any touch support here, so it’s just as well that the touchpad is decent.The Lenovo 5i Chromebook is an excellent choice for families and students looking for a large-screen ChromeOS laptop with excellent performance, a beautiful display, and a long battery life for an approachable price. Extra touches like Wi-Fi 6E and a 1080p webcam are just icing on the cake, making it the best Chromebook to get when you need a bigger screen. What you would expect and do indeed get is a proper CPU with high performance cores, in this case an Intel Core i5-8250U.
