It made me want to learn more, to share more, to empower more. I knew there was an unmet need here and wanted to find some answers. For those who are familiar with my work, and previous books, you might be thinking why this book and why now? This bold, comprehensive guide to understanding women’s health shakes up the narrative for women of all ages. The Female Factor provides methods to protect and maximise your health in positive, affirming steps. Thank you Hazel for gathering so many stats and facts/figures which I appreciate are difficult to find for women.

Nutrition will always be Dr Hazel’s biggest passion, but as a woman, and as a doctor to many women, she wanted to expand on the work she does, especially when she discovered there was an unmet need within medicine and healthcare. Realising that our current model of male- centric medicine meant that women were understudied, under-diagnosed, misdiagnosed and under-treated, she soon knew there was an unmet need here and wanted to find some answers. This Halloween, swipe right to uncover the haunting realities in the workplace that are too real to ignore. This reads like a collection of small posts. Only ~46% of the book is actual content on health, the rest is recipes, references, etc. Whilst the parts of the book that were educational were very well written, easy to understand and I definitely took information on board, I was hoping for deeper knowledge and understand and it seemed a little surface level.Female Factor conducted a national retail sales training program for Oakley and the result was a significant increase in sales and revenue for our women’s business. Their training is highly engaging, and our employees and retail partners found it extremely valuable for their job. I would highly recommend Female Factor as a partner.” Ready to add a touch of magic to the consulting world? Dive into our collection of consulting roles, each one a potential stepping stone to your next exciting career adventure! Dr Hazel’s first book provides the perfect platform for her to bridge the gap between mainstream medicine and nutrition to create a whole-body guide to health. The male body has always been the default body in clinical medicine, making the assumption that women are just smaller versions of men. This could not be more wrong. We started the female factor in 2019 with the aim to create a community for the next generation of female decision-makers. We support these female leaders through mentoring, networking and our career programs.
