A higher tack masking tape with an ASS: 21, which uses a medium strength, green colour, flat-back washi paper. Reacts to moisture within the wallcovering adhesive, to bond and reinforce seams, making them more resistant to mechanical damage. Cut the masking film around the repair area and fix the film with Scotch® Masking Tapes, in preparation for filler and primer application.

Using premium masking tapes will pay-off as they have a lower tendency to leave adhesive or slice - saving you valuable work time!Prepare the larger area that you need to respray by applying an aperture masking solution such as 3M™ Soft Edge Foam Masking Tape, 3M™ Soft Edge Foam Masking Tape Plus or 3M™ Smooth Transition Tape, which should be applied to the car body line of any moveable parts to close gaps.
