Discussing the realities most working mums face, plus the impact of maternal mental health, Louise is on a mission to make other mums feel less alone, and very much heard.

She is also a champion for Gender Equality and female empowerment and in 2016, she was named as a United Nations Change Ambassador for Gender Equality. Robin is thrilled at the opportunity to temporarily take over the reins at work when her boss takes some time out. Her relationship with her parents, best friend (and best friend’s daughter) were all lovely – as was her developing friendship with her new mate Bea.She just comes out with some fantastic lines that had me laughing so hard that I forgot what I'd read prior to that comment and had to go back to reread the previous page to get back on track. She’ll need to make some pretty brave choices if she’s going to stop everything she cares about falling apart. Can Robin shift the gear up another notch and battle her way through all these ever-changing dilemmas in her life? The time travel to 1989 is not a permanent thing and instead is something that Tabby can control at will and as such wasn’t used as much as I was anticipating.

Louise is a champion for Gender Equality and female empowerment and in 2016, she was named as a United Nations Change Ambassador for Gender Equality. I had brought the book on my kindle a while before I read it and initially decided to pick it up as I had read the first two books and knew that it was something I would find enjoyable and easy to read.A beautiful and heart-warming memoir about her experience with motherhood – it will be full of the warmth, humour and positivity she is known for. So, when her dad drops a bombshell over their weekly Sunday dinner, Tabby takes a look at her own life. This time we see her juggling being a single mum to a hilarious little girl, having a man in her life, more responsibility at work, an anxious friend with a newborn baby and so much more. Focusing on ‘what nobody ever tells you about being a mum’, Louise looks at her own parenting journey with honest, hilarious, and heart-warming truth. It's a very empowering and uplifting message, and one that I love seeing take centre stage in a woman's fiction novel.

It’s a perfect summer read as it’s deep enough to lose yourself in, but you’ll find yourself getting through the story fast. I loved her Robin Wilde series and so I was intrigued to see what her next fiction novel would be like. Life is about to throw quite the curve ball at Robin Wilde, and she'll need to make some pretty brave choices if she's going to stop everything she cares about falling apart . You can see how although it’s not a biographical book, it’s definitely influenced by Louise’s life, especially with the colloquial, easy to read language.Having just given up on a ‘literary-type’ book as I just couldn’t get into it – I fancied what I suspected to be an easier read – and as this is out on 21 July 2022, it was perfect timing. She is also involved in the support and encouragement of childhood literacy with charity Bookstart, alongside Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
