Print speed is one of the most compelling reasons to opt for the Mono SQ, as it boasts a speed of 60mm/hour, which is 3x the speed of the original Photon Mono. Needless to say, this is impressive for a machine of this cost, and makes it a great choice if you want to print minifigures or more complex projects that require separately printed parts. Increased efficiency is guaranteed! As is expected of such a low price tag, the Photon Mono is fairly rudimentary in design. However, it has a build volume of 130 x 78 x 165mm, which isn’t too different from its counterparts. At around 50mm/hour, the Mono 4K’s print speed is about average for a printer like this, but can’t be described as slow. Beginning with the first (and cheapest) of the series, the Anycubic Photon Mono’s price makes it one of the cheapest resin 3D printers on the market today. Build Volume One area where the Mono loses out, however, is its print speed.
