About this deal

The minifigure selection in this set is good, with some standouts like Fennec Shand and the Dark Trooper, but I feel like a set of this size needed one more figure. Personally, I would’ve liked a live-action version of Bo-Katan, or even just another Dark Trooper. We saw four out of seven sets feature female characters; and 5 out of 25 characters as definite females, including one storm trooper. Dune's torso and legs display extensive detail too. The metallic silver mail covering her chest appears excellent, complemented by dark blue armour which continues across the legs. Cara Dune carries an enormous heavy blaster onscreen and I think this accessory could have been improved, although Din Djarin's beskar spear and Amban sniper rifle are splendid. The scale will be a little off, but I think swapping the dark grey for lbg and putting this next to Ucs Imperial Star Destroyer would look fantastic! "

This premium-quality set comes with 5 LEGO minifigures: The Mandalorian, Cara Dune, Fennec Shand, Moff Gideon and a Dark Trooper, plus a LEGO figure of Grogu (the Child ). Cool weapons include The Mandalorian#39;s Amban phase-pulse blaster and spear and Moff Gideon#39;s darksaber for hero vs. villain play. While their shaping appears impressive, viewing these engines from behind reveals another significant issue. While the three primary nacelles are present, four auxiliary thrusters should appear between them. Instead, the vessel has seemingly taken inspiration from the Arquitens-class Cruiser which includes three engines. Inaccuracies which enhance play are reasonable, but instances like this one remain disappointing. Keepability: 4/5 – this set is worth keeping, especially for fans of the Mandalorian or Star Wars ships in general. It certainly looks good on display.

i just do not want any information about sw sets anymore. i hope there is or will be a function for those whom have no interesst in such" There are some relatively new elements here, including the 3×3 curved quarter circle arch, whichmakes fro the front portion of the engines. The two outer engines are made using curved 8×4 simicircular panels. Panels are sloped over the rear of the ship, including the central engine. Transparent light blue radar dishes are attached to simulate the main engine jets. There is a little deviation from the source material here: there are 4 smaller engines between each of the main thrusters on screen. Not even including a hint of them feels a little thoughtless, but, on the other hand, gives you the opportunity to improve on the model with your own modifications. Bag 7 Trouble on Tatooine introduced an updated Din Djarin minifigure, wearing his valuable beskar armour. The metallic silver panels covering the torso, legs and arms look excellent and stand out beautifully against the dark brown attire underneath. In addition, the various pouches and straps provide welcome detail, demonstrating fidelity to the onscreen character. I’m also not a fan of the exposed blue pins at the front, as they’re quite obvious from most angles. I wish LEGO included a couple more pieces to cover these up and preserve the uniform grey design. She is armed with a blaster rifle that has a lightsaber hilt mounted on the end to make it even longer.

The side panels toward the front of the ship use studs-not-on-top techniques, which feature nice greebling. Two small cannons are mounted on either side, and the cannon barrels can be adjusted up and down. Nevertheless, these weapons are an enjoyable addition and two larger turbolaser turrets are positioned atop the hull. These can rotate and the barrels are individually articulated which is welcome, although the whole turbolaser structure elevates during the television series. I think recreating that movement would have been challenging here, particularly since spring-loaded shooters are situated between the barrels. Despite displaying detail in certain sections 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser leaves considerable potential for improvement. The model is certainly substantial and the exterior seems relatively attractive, although some inaccuracies are inexcusable in my opinion. Moreover, the functions are remarkably scarce and more could have been provided, perhaps including somewhere for Dark Trooper deployment. We add shape and structure to the rear of the ship’s hull, and build up a technic tower, just behind the midpoint of the vessel. This will add strength to this region, probably contributing to a carry handle. Bags 4&5

Fans of the Mandalorian ought to get this set, but I think waiting for a discount first would definitely be wise. Rating: This figure is absolutely adorable overall, and captures the essence of Baby Yoda in a LEGO figure. It’s excellent that it comes in this set, as Grogu was the central character in the finale. And so it is complete. Overall I appreciate the look of the craft. The silhouette fits nicely, and the underlying technic elements in the conning tower provide a sturdy handle, improving the overall swooshability of the model. The tiny TIE fighters are gorgeous. One can be placed in the opening at the front, and pushed forwad. Unfortunately, this mechanism is only functional when the cabin lid is open. Further, it is the subtle extra lift in that shoulder pad piece, combined with the placement of the eyes on the helmet slightly higher than that of a regular minifigure’s eyeline (put the helmet on any other head, and their eyes won’t reach the holes) that gives the Dark Trooper minifigure extra menace in its appearance, and some extra height where otherwise the LEGO Star Wars design team don’t like to offer it. Starship features bridge that doubles as handle for flying, 2 rotating turrets and hatch to access cabin

This Imperial Light Cruiser forms the base of operations for Moff Gideon during the second season of The Mandalorian. The minifigure selection in this set is based on that final confrontation between the Mandalorian and Moff Gideon, with several other supporting cast from the season also included. This review might contain some spoilers for the episode. It is still excellent though, with a brand new helmet mould that fits over a minifigure head, and simply looks gorgeous. It has a printed shoulder armour piece and some nice torso and leg printing. The first figure included is The Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin. This figure is no longer new now, having appeared in around 6 sets, but it’s still an excellent figure. He is armed with his blaster rifle and a beskar spear. It’s not particularly fun to play with, as the TIE only launches a few centimetres, and the feature only works with the top of the ship open so it looks rather odd. I’m not sure this play feature was an effective use of parts. This Star Wars Mandalorian building toy makes an attention-grabbing display piece and a wonderful LEGO birthday gift or holiday presentAs expected for a set of this size, the box is pretty massive. It has a neat design of the Imperial Light Cruiser flying through space, accompanied by a couple of TIE fighters. The next minifigure is exclusive, and is none other than Moff Gideon himself. His head print looks accurate, but his torso print design is surprisingly simple and the legs are unprinted. There aren’t too many other details but I suppose that was necessary to prevent the limited space from becoming overcrowded. As such, there is a fair bit of space to pose minifigures and act out scenes from the show. The included Grogu - the Child LEGO figure affectionately known as Baby Yoda, adds an emotional touch to solo or creative play with friends They might look a bit large and the spring-loaded missile tails are a bit obtrusive to the overall design, but on the whole it doesn’t look too bad and adds quite a bit of playability.
