About this deal

Elixir isn't as fruity, but it's worth a sniff if you love Tattoo but want a cheap alternative for casual, self indulgent wear. I'm in love with Elixir and Tattoo. I wonder if those that love this would think it smells great on me or would they be appalled that my chemistry makes it so disgusting?

The bottle is symbolically designed to resemble a heart – shaped diamond pierced by an arrow, colored in intense shades of purple. The face of the fragrance is a young model Ashley Smith. During the opening/middle it does smell vaguely similar to "Yes I Am" (...and I wish I had bought that instead of blind-buying this!) The drydown is more pleasant, as some florals come out and the milk note fades. INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA PURSUANT TO ARTICLES 13 AND 14 OF EU REGULATION 679/2016 (“GDPR”) Ever since I got this perfume, I haven’t worn any other. Every time I wear it, I smell something new! I got Loverdose Tattoo in the mail (and I might add after trying to describe what my new juice might smell like and getting a negative reception...Milk??)Legal basis: this processing is based on the performance of a contract for joining the loyalty program to which you are a party; the provision of the Personal Data listed above is necessary for this purpose, since otherwise Diesel will not be able to process your request. It's a very vanilla-milky sort of scent, with the added sort of floral musk. I hate floral perfumes, but it's extremely subtle in this. Ok, so: unmistakeable a vanilla perfume, therefore sweet, but I find that woods, licorice and anise add something able to tone down and get it more pleasant. Yes, the heart-shaped bottle can't help to figure, but it's not only a girly perfume to me. I'm beginning to think I am just plain weird. I have tried a lot of perfumes and while I like some, I have never loved a scent as much as Loverdose. Being that I am a middle-aged woman (though I feel 25), it might be a bit "young" for me, but I love how the scent changes on me. It's complex to me, starting out with a burst of licorice (which was a huge surprise to me when I first tried it as I hate licorice as a candy but oh so lovely to my nose). I don't particularly smell any one flower, but it is somewhat flowery with this subtle but yummy undertone of vanilla sweetness.

There is also (possibly) a product by LUSH that shares some likeness to this, but I presently can't recall which! Maybe Yuzu & Cocoa? I believe so. One of my friends wears this fragrance, and she always smells AMAZING. I finally bought it, and I have to say that I absolutely love how this smells on me. If you don't like licorice, then this fragrance is almost definitely not for you because the licorice note is very strong, as is the vanilla note. It is a warm and heavy scent-- perfect for late fall and all through winter. It is a sexy and sweet fragrance as well, which makes it a good date-night or special occasion fragrance. May give it another try in a few months though, as there's just something about this perfume I don't quite want to give up on.... I saw this at shoppers drug mart on the 19.99 perfume shelf. I have seen it before and not paid much attention to it. I assumed it was just like a basic boring overly perfumy type of scent. A J Lo live Luxe kind of scent or Adidas Rhythm sport scent. Both i dislike. I don't know how to describe that ' perfumey ' category, or even where my assumption would come from. I really judged a book by its cover. I wasn't expecting much as I don't tend to like fragrances with rice in the base ie. the popular "Amour" by Kenzo- smells like nothing, like it's missing something. Since I like licorice, I have nothing againt this fragrance but it doesn't work as a daily perfume for me. Still, I don't dislike it, I would just not buy it.

It's unusual, I'm not sure what I expected, but this isn't it. (I saw comparisons to Kenzo Amour, which I have- but this isn't like that). I like it, it smells like a bowl of fruity cereal and milk, with some fresh flowers next to it. :) Love the blend of sweet and spice here. Works great for winters. It smells really unique, might not be liked by everybody. So test it out before buying. Pursuant to Chapter III of the GDPR, you have the right to ask each Data Controller or Joint Controller:

I wouldn't consider this a safe blind buy as I feel liquorice is far too polarising. Generally speaking I would say that if liquorice or star anise isn't your jam that you should probably avoid this one or get a sample if your curiosity is just too hard to ignore. Everyone who is saying this is nauseating and gross is 100% right. The smell is pungent, sweet but with a very "dirty" feling to it. Not quite sure what note or note combination causes this, I suspect it's the tonka-bean but I'm not familiar enough with the note to blame it solely on her for the atrocity that is this perfume. The nasty accord amplifies in hot weather, making it even more unwearable than it already is. Having overcome my many years' dislike of sweetness, a whole world of lovely fragrances is opening up. I must be getting younger as I'm getting older.
