About this deal

In 1869, the Paiute Wodziwob founded the Ghost Dance movement. The dance rituals were an occasion to announce his visions of an earthquake that would swallow the whites. He seems to have died in 1872.

Because the third temple must be functional by the middle of the Tribulation Period (cf. Mat 24:15; 2 Thes 2:4; Rev 13), at some stage Israel must regain control over Jerusalem, even if such control is temporary until the temple is functional (cf. Luk 21:24). Since 1967, Israel has some control over Jerusalem (Fruchtenbaum 2004:104-105). Before the Tribulation Period At the end of the Tribulation Period, God will judge the nations ‘on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land’ (Joel 3:2). Notice that it is God’s land. But most nations today are already putting pressure on Israel to divide its land for so-called peace. This so-called ‘land-for-peace’ strategy is going to end badly. Process: Jerusalem a Burdensome Stone According to Revelation 20:4, the souls of those ‘who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years’. It is not only the Tribulation Saints who will be resurrected, given glorified bodies and allowed to enter the Messianic kingdom, but Old Testament saints will also be resurrected and given their glorified bodies (Is 26:19; Dan 12:2). Marriage Supper of the LambClifford S. Hill. 1991. Prophecy, Past and Present: an Exploration of the Prophetic Ministry in the Bible and the Church today. Ann Arbor, Mich.: Vine. ISBN 0-8028-0635-X. A depiction of Muhammad receiving his first revelation from the angel Gabriel. From the manuscript Jami' al-tawarikh by Rashid-al-Din Hamadani, 1307, Ilkhanate period. Traditionally, four prophets are believed to have been sent holy books: the Torah ( Tawrat) to Moses, the Psalms ( Zābūr) to David, the Gospel( Injil) to Jesus, and the Quran to Muhammad; those prophets are considered "Messengers" or rasūl. Other main prophets are considered messengers or nabī, even if they didn't receive a Book from God. Examples include the messenger-prophets Aaron ( Hārūn), Ishmael ( Ismāʿīl) and Joseph ( Yūsuf). [ citation needed] It appears that the seven trumpet judgements (Rev 8-9; 10:7; 11:15a) will also occur during the first half of the Tribulation Period, after the seal judgements. The trumpet judgements will follow each other sequentially: The Kibeho apparition in Rwanda in the 1980s included many prophecies about great violence and destruction that was coming, and the Rwandan genocide only ten years later was interpreted by the visionaries as the fulfilment of these prophecies [79]

When you see the abomination of desolation, those Jews in Judea are commanded to flee to the mountains (Mat 24:16). At this stage, the counterfeit ‘trinity’ will attempt to annihilate and destroy all Jews, beginning in Judea. God will protect a remnant of Israel in the wilderness, in the mountains — just like He protected Elijah. During the Second Half of the Tribulation Period The false prophet will be prominent from at least the middle of the Tribulation Period. He will look like a pious, religious person, but speak like a dragon (Rev 13:11). The false prophet will have the power to perform counterfeit signs and wonders (Rev 13:13-15). It is the false prophet who forces people to worship the antichrist and to take the mark of the beast (Rev 13:12, 16-18). At this stage, a counterfeit ‘Satanic trinity’ will be present on earth: Satan as a counterfeit father, the antichrist as a counterfeit son, and the false prophet as a counterfeit holy spirit. Flee to the Mountains The last prophet of the Old Covenant before the arrival of Jesus is John the Baptist. [44] [45] New Testament passages that explicitly discuss prophets existing after the death and resurrection of Christ include Revelation 11:10, [46] Matthew 10:40–41 and 23:34, [47] John 13:20 and 15:20 [48] and Acts 11:25–30, 13:1 and 15:32. [49]By the time the Tribulation Period begins, the literal city of Babylon must be rebuilt (cf. Rev 17-18), because Babylon will, for a time, serve as the capital city not only of a false one-world religious system but also as the citadel of the antichrist. Rapture
