About this deal

I refuse to say any more, I may have even said far too much already, this book needs to be read to fully appreciate how blindingly good it is. Miss Read, the narrator, reflects on her first meeting as the somewhat nervous new schoolteacher, and gives the reader a picture of how the book will progress . The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. Now Caine delves into the real stories behind the gangs we think we know so well, revealing the hidden realities behind the myths.

Filled with great character and world-building—especially the variety of female characters—lots of surprising moments, and just overall entertainment, I really enjoyed reading this book. Her final appearance was in "Where's Auntie" where she is Mrs Pringle, a very impatient woman who they get mixed up with Jimmy's Auntie.Along the way, they’ll unlock wisdom for those of us navigating our own coupledoms, and for those still seeking their perfect match. My thanks to the publisher and Goodreads for the giveaway of this Kindle book, in exchange for my honest review. On the one hand, my heart went out to Cora as she realizes her whole world is collapsing with insolvency. New and familiar characters abound, voiced by a bright mix of performers, including Kat Dennings, Regé-Jean Page, Emma Corrin, Michael Sheen, Kristen Schaal, Brian Cox, John Lithgow, Jeffrey Wright, and so many more, including fan-favorite narrators Simon Vance and Ray Porter.

I cannot recommend this enough, essential reading for anyone who loves historical fiction which features sassy and clever women. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money. It traces her life from childhood visits to the village from her Caxley home through her working days before her marriage and on to her long association with Fairacre School. Finding herself without income, she becomes a spiritualist who may or may not actually communicate with the dead.I can't say I liked Cora that much, although she was an interesting mix of selfishness, impetuosity and naivety. Following Cora Pringle, a down-and-out social climber, and Amelia Baxter, a forward-thinking journalist in 1888, The Spirited Mrs. A visit to the Cotswolds is always a gentle bit of joy, even when the main character is morose, maudlin, and miserable.
