The fact that I have just bought wwe 2k22 in the last sale for like 30. Im glad now they just giving away the ps4 game. includes some expansive modes. Showcase Mode provides a deep dive into cover star Rey Mysterio’s career, recreating some of his biggest fights. Real-life footage cuts through the gameplay at crucial moments, and Rey provides commentary like a mini-documentary. Unlike regular fights, your goal isn’t pinning opponents, as doing that ends a match early. Instead, you're hitting set objectives, hitting specific moves against your opponent. They have let go so many great wrestlers since the last game. It's fortunate that their roster is so expansive they'll still have big names to rely on.

In WWE 2K22's Showcase mode, players can take a walk down memory lane and relive the most iconic matches and moments of legendary WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio. It's due to Sony's odd choice of having separate "versions" of the game that there's a decision for the publisher to make at all, though. Regardless of whether there’s much upgrade to be had on the ps5 version … I just find this unfathomable. It turns getting a recent big name title added to extra into bad PR. I just find it very irritating all told.

Is it just me or is understanding the different tiers of pS+ and which games work and are last gen vs this gen completely confusing? I mean how different are the two versions really. Probably a tiny bit smoother looking on the eye compared to the PS4 version which probably requires you to put your eyeballs super close to the tv to see a difference. I doubt having a bit more smoother fps will make much of a difference in a wrestling scrap and having slower load times is such a tiny nuisance given the game is almost free in comparison to buying it normally But herein lies the problem: unlike previous GM modes, you don’t quite have the same level of control and your run isn’t indefinite. Instead, you’ll play against the AI or a human opponent for a set time period, with a winner selected upon your run’s conclusion. The minutia of day-to-day management is still quite engaging, with options to sign some truly absurd fictitious free agents being a personal highlight, but we think it would have made far more sense to roll MyGM into MyUniverse, in which you’re essentially a god.
