This resource has been organised in two different ways to give teachers flexibility with the way the text is covered. Teaching Approach B: Questions in this section are the same as in Teaching Approach A, but are organised into several smaller groups. Each group of questions is focused on a smaller part of the text to allow the text to be covered in sections over time. English Year 2: Understand both the books that they can already read accurately and fluently and those that they listen to by answering and asking questions; making inferences on the basis of what is being said and done; and predicting what might happen on the basis of what has been read so far.
