If you value function over form and convenience over all else (even if it means extra set up time), you’ll love the Slide. Keyport Pivot Orbitkey is based in Melbourne, Australia. They don’t reveal where their products are made, but based on what I could find, Orbitkey products are most likely made in China. Closing Thoughts To minimize this inconvenience, you can go with the Bellroy Key Cover or Keyport Slide. But even then, you have to factor in setting up and removing keys. This particular wire was stapled all across the wall and the ceiling. However, I was able to pull out my KeySmart, get the pliers, and easily remove all of the staples in a few minutes.
First, the Orbitkey is made from soft materials (leather, canvas, etc.). This means it’s very light and flexible, which makes is easy to carry but harder to turn (when you actually use your keys). There are several things I like about the Bellroy Key Cover Plus. First, it has a magnetic closure that makes it easy to use with one hand. The Pro comes with a bottle opener already on it but you can add various accessories to any model you choose. The Easy set up requires no tools and fits all types of keys. Create a reliable multi-tool by adding one of our mini tools or MagConnect. No key organizer will “hide” a bulky fob. Most of these organizers have a ring for your fob, which means it will dangle off of one end.And that's pretty much it. Is it foolproof? Nope. Is it way better than dropping your dumb keys somewhere and hoping your dumb self can find 'em? Absolutely. The “Smart” part of KeySmart comes from the integration they offer with Tile. Now, you don’t have to get the “Smart” integration (you can get a basic key holder) but having Tile makes it so you never have to worry about losing your keys again. It’s pretty clear that people were quite affectionate towards their KeySmart items. They particularly liked how well the product connected with the Tile app. Customers said that they could easily locate their keys by using the app. As an aspiring minimalist, I really like this option. It’s simple, no frills design gives you only what you need, and nothing more.
They have three types of wallets. The first one is a passport wallet, which is ultra-slim but can still hold up to 14 cards. My Review Process If you’re trying to decide between the KeySmart and Keyport Slide, that’s a different story. The Slide will take more effort to set up, but it’s highly customizable and can be used with one hand. By the way, all KeySmarts are easy to assemble and require no tools. All you really need is something to tighten the screws. Their videos show someone using a penny, which is fine… but I used a flathead screwdriver. You know, like a real man. :-)
