About this deal

Utilize scrap paper to take off extra ink from your stamp before stamping on your project. Then, you can begin stamping. If you’re a beginner, please follow the next steps. Step 1: Designing Your Stamp After, you can stamp until 50 times before having to reapply. This is a big timesaver over regular stamps which needs constant reapplication of in to perform. Although everything points to the Silhouette Mint stamps as perfect for projects, there’s a disadvantage when it comes to utilizing the stamp.

It not only allows people to create stamps with great ease but also includes a custom program, the Mint Studio. This software is user-friendly and makes designing simple. How to Use Silhouette Mint? If your PC’s operating system doesn’t meet the minimal requirements, it won’t install. If you already own the software from a previous Silhouette, update it to the latest version. One of the huge differences between creating a stamp via Silhouette Mint vs the stamp material is the software used to create the design. You can start making your designs in the software. When first accessing your software, you will notice 50 free pre-made designs you can install, utilize and explore. The Silhouette Mint does one thing and it does it very well. If you're a scrapbooker or love designing cards and gifts then we highly recommend this little craft stamping machine for creating stunning paper art.

The Silhouette Mint comes with the following accessories so you can make your first project right away:

First and foremost, connect your unit to a power outlet with one cable and your computer with a USB cable. Then, open your software and begin designing. The Mint machine connects to your computer and comes with the Mint Studio™ software which allows you to create stamps. Mint: Stamps created using your Silhouette Mint™ are meant to be self stamping for up to 50 stamps. To make this happen, ink is applied from the ink bottle directly to the face of your stamp. Multiple colored inks can be applied to different portions of the stamp directly. Once ink is applied, changing colors is not recommended until all of the applied ink runs out. Ink pads are not used. After you let the ink sit on your stamp for a couple minutes, you will need to stamp off all the excess ink until a clean design is stamped. A cookie set by YouTube to measure bandwidth that determines whether the user gets the new or old player interface. I found it a bit odd that these stamps don’t work like regular stamps where you press them onto an ink pad, but the process is rather simple. You have to apply ink from the bottle onto the stamp’s bottom and then wait about 10 minutes for the stamp to fully absorb the ink. It’s definitely more of a wait rather than just pressing a stamp onto an ink pad, but it’s not too inconvenient since I’m in no hurry.Silhouette has a great software called Mint Studio, which comes alongside this nifty little machine. Small in size, and easy to use, the Silhouette Mint is unlike traditional stamping machines. In use, we are are able to create their own designs and even import images and photos to make bespoke stamp designs, in a variety of colours. A nice option is to use any font from you computer to turn into slogans and clever designs, which again shows easy of use is paramount. The Mint is different than a traditional stamp that requires an ink pad. In fact, you’re not using a pad at all. The Silhouette Mint™ uses 5 ml bottles of ink applied directly to your stamp. The stamp will then absorb the ink, enabling it to stamp approximately 50 images before the stamp dries up. After that, just add a few more drops of ink and you’re ready to go again. Each 5 ml ink bottle has enough ink for hundreds of projects and thousands of stamps. Unlike regular stamps, you don’t just push these stamps against a stamp pad to take up ink. You add ink from the ink bottle on the stamp bottom instead. Generally Cricut machines are easier to use than Silhouette machines, and they have a larger ecosystem of tools, accessories and associated machines – such as the Cricut EasyPress 2 and Cricut Mug Press. Note: the Silhouette is more customisable, with on-device settings, making it, in the long run, a machine pros love. What is the most recent Silhouette machine? You can’t change the colours between stamps. Instead, you need to let the ink run out throughout all the stamps. It’s not good for individual creations.
