About this deal

Becoming “insane” is possible for anyone, if there’s enough abuse, trauma etc, it can happen to anyone. I already knew a lot about Jeffrey Dahmer, and I hoped this would give me more insight into his brain and reasons for what he did.

When played back, he would have killed all those people every time over, since the chain of events that led up to his birth and lifespan are all deterministic and therefore pre-determined. I think the more you try to prevent a sexual predator, sexual sadist, psychopath from committing crimes, engaging in their fantasies, by conditioning their behaviour, the more they will want to engage in their sick fantasies, predatory, violent sexual behaviour/impulses. Although German authorities would later investigate possible connections between Dahmer and murders that took place in the area during that time, it is not believed that he took any more victims while serving in the Armed Forces. His narrative style comes across as all-knowledgeable, arrogant and self-centered, while at the same time spending far too often directly quoting others.A lot of people read true crime to learn what red flags to pay attention to in a the behaviour of men or women. It is believed that the violence didn't just stay between the parents as in Joyce's diary she recorded that she patted Jeff on the bottom twice at 9 months old for discipline reasons. Jeff came from a family where his parents argued, they cheated on one another and they hated one another. To be able to study his brain and look at the different things in his brain, they may be able to help people like this in the future.

Like you said, not all teenagers with severe alcohol problems, and even troubled childhoods, become what he did.I don’t know why I am saying this, but I guess it’s just crazy that I’ll see him one day for myself. Whatever his illnesses, they’re not the reflection of people who are diagnosed with these conditions. I think even if a serial killer wasn't abused, they are still scarred by something that has happened in their life in the past, that has deeply hurt them a wound that can't be healed, a defining moment that they can't forgotten, some type of injustice, they were wronged, fucked over by someone/something they would want justified revenge for. Parental neglect and heredity (look into his mother’s mental illness, and his father’s scientific intelligence); look into his development as a child and experiences (he was molested, he became an alcoholic as a child, etc. I believe this was one of the reasons, that he felt, isolated, alienated, lonely, frustrated, angry and the best way for him to express the way he thought or felt was his violent, dark, sick fantasies, his premeditated crimes.
