Natural moisture absorbers, such as tapioca starch, arrowroot and kaolin clay, are typical ingredients used in these products, along with antibacterial ingredients such as baking soda, citric acid and ammonium alum, which prevent odours. A deodorant is designed to mask the smell of odour-causing bacteria in the sweat with fragrances and alcohol. After four years of producing nuud and making armpits happy everywhere in the world, we incidentally hear that after using nuud lumps/bumps/pimples emerge. So the question is: does nuud cause those lumps, bumps and pimples and if so, how? It doesn’t completely stop you from sweating, just minimises it. Nor does it stop the sweat from smelling.

nuud has a concentrated formula so a little goes a long way. A 15ml tube of nuud can last on average 6-7 weeks. It all depends on how frequently you need to top it up. It’s effective too. These are just some of the reasons why I recommend this natural deodorant over others.

I know they claim that one bottle will last for 6 weeks, but this means you would have to buy approximately 8 bottles a year. This isn’t really that great in terms of the environment and costs.

It depends on what you’ve been using before. If you’ve been using an antiperspirant, your body will need to expel the aluminium gel that’s been clogging your pores.
