I do recommend you read Heat Haven prior to this because it introduces you to how Sarah’s omegaverse runs and also you get to see a hilarious Easter egg in this book (which you would otherwise miss). Cami and Smith's relationship behavior and POV opinions got more and more juvenile as the story went on - e.g. phrases like "yeet myself out the window", calling people around them "bitches" and "douches," and dropping more and more f-bombs in their verbal dialogue. I can’t dedicate myself to my passion and to multiple people. There just isn’t enough of me to share. I already share so much of myself with the world.
