I believe the 23A doesn't support B3+B1 aggregation, whereas the 65A does.As for software, this isn’t something you’ll likely be interacting with much, but the Huawei B535 WebBox does have a simple web interface, allowing you to configure settings and read messages – as there’s no display, you have to access this from an external device. The dial tone sounds wrong, like old BT tone when it times out, but aside from that and the 20 second wait when calling, it all works ok. After putting my sim card in my iPhone X I can see CA being activated by the cell. "LTE neighbour" / secondary band 3, with phone latching on to primary band 1 (B1 & B3 flipping around between primary and secondary). I could still have installed the original firmware, if I had any way to get a copy, but although I found loads of different versions of the firmware, none were the version I had before, and the only ones that seemed like any improvement refused to load. Can you borrow a sim card from any friends or family and try another network and see if the same thing happens? After reading that (particularly that an outgoing call took a long time to connect) I just tried it again myself and it works - I just had to wait 25 seconds after dialing (!) As such, you might want to consider the new Three 4G Hub or another network option instead, as it might not cost more overall, and in the case of the Three 4G Hub you’ll get higher speeds.

The design of the Huawei B535 WebBoxis nothing to get excited about, but that’s ok. Its plain white build will disappear neatly into almost any home. Most people don’t want their routers to stand out, and this one certainly doesn’t, even compared to the newer Three 5G Hub.
