About this deal

Although it may be small, it is mighty! The SQ-64 will continually fuel your creative drive, allowing you to achieve the best results possible. With this in your set-up you'll be able to control and connect all of your favourite analog and digital gear from one convenient place. The sequencer guarantees that the most complex of performances will feel effortless. In the event that there is any physical defect in the disk (storage device, etc.) on which the Licensed Program is supplied, Korg will exchange the defective disk with a non-defective disk of the same model at no charge, provided that you have notified Korg of the existence of such defect within 28 days from the date you have received the disk, and provided that Korg shall never be held liable to replace the disk or data in the event that the defect is attributed to accident, abuse, misuse or other such causes outside of Korg’s control. Korg, in no event, will be liable for the direct, derivative, collateral or consequential damage caused by the use of or the inability of using the Licensed Program (including but not limited to damage of data, lost commercial profit, interruption of work, lost commercial information), regardless of the degree of damages, and even if Korg was aware of the possibility of such damages or the possibility of a claim for damage from a third party in advance.

If supplied in conjunction with any Korg instrument or equipment, such Third Party Software shall only relate to the non-essential functions of such instrument or equipment. Company takes no responsibility for any loss including but not limited to loss of data, financial loss, or personal loss) that might arise from the use of, or the inability to use, the manual library or the specified software. Rec Quantise: The SQ-64 will now automatically quantise notes during recording rather than you having to edit them afterwards. The fact that the drum sequencer outputs eight separate CV outs is not only good for percussion but for all manner of other uses. In reality, you are looking at eight rhythmic triggers, so you could use these to launch all manner of events in your modular system, from strumming Mutable Instruments Rings to triggering a sample & hold, or countless other CV-based possibilities. I can’t think of an option that isn’t catered for here. That just about covers it for getting up and running, so how about the fun stuff? Well, you choose a pattern, of which there are 64 user-saveable (same for songs, or projects, as Korg calls them), set a pattern length, rotation …and get sequencing!a) to Korg at its own expense using all reasonable endeavours to rectify any non-conformance with the warranty by repair (by way of a patch, work around, correction or otherwise) within a reasonable period of time or, Dedicated mode where all 64 buttons are set to note values and four banks of knobs can be assigned to controllers - though this editing is not yet possible, there is an editor on the way, so it will certainly be of use to many, it's of limited use right now. Improved Step Input: You can now add and delete notes from a sequence while holding down the step button. This library does not provide owner’s manuals and product information for all of the products sold by the Company. Owner’s manuals or product information may not be available for all products indefinitely or at all, and may be permanently discontinued at the Company’s discretion. microKEY2/Air: Supported in microKEY2/Air version 1.05 or later. Modified to be able to change Bluetooth MIDI connection type via KONTROL Editor (v2.1.2 or later, macOS version only). If the Bluetooth MIDI connection does not work, set the "Connection Type" parameter ("Control" tab -> "Wireless" -> "Connection Type") in KONTROL Editor to "2" and try the connection again.

This warranty shall however only apply to the latest version of the Licensed Program (provided that Korg has reasonably made such version available to you) and shall not apply to any previous version or versions of the Licensed Program. Modified to change Bluetooth MIDI connection type via KORG KONTROL Editor (v2.1.2 or later, macOS version only).

Making connections

Modulation Mode allows you to set a value for each step that will send out an appropriate voltage from the CV Mod output, and it will send velocity or another Continuous Controller over MIDI. You can specify a linear or exponential curve to govern the rate of change from one modulation value to another from step to step, or have it jump to the next one. You can set a variation amount for randomising the value and a range to hem it in, giving it a nicely varied feel.
