About this deal

Synapse is where you set the CPI toggle’s 5 stored settings, which can range from 100 CPI to a large 18,000 CPI. There are also 3 polling rate options in Synapse:t 125, 500 and 1,000 Hz. Faster Than Traditional Mechanical Switches: New 2nd Gen Razer optical mouse switches uses light beam-based actuation, registering button presses at the speed of light Additionally, my mouse has just died completely, and Razer is working with me to replace it again. Beware Razer quality control, but at least their support is good in my experience. When I compared it to my old Razer Naga Chroma from 2014, I was surprised to find that the Chroma wasn’t as heavy as it claimed by default, coming in at 106 grams. Switching to the Naga X, with its lighter build, felt taking an even further chunk off of that, rather than it increasing like it did on the pro with its 117 grams.

The Naga X is also much lighter than its siblings in the Naga range, which is great for anyone who prefers keeping their mouse as light as possible. It weighs in at 85 grams, which is far below the 117 grams of the Naga Pro. It's also wired, which is still the gold standard for many PC gamers, even as wireless tech continues to get much better.

I bought the Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite, for its grip and adjustable number pad. At the time, I could not find a mouse under about 120g. I thought the mouse felt okay, definitely better than the Redragon regarding grip. Unfortunately, it was still heavy, and the number buttons were too easy to press (many accidental presses). The rubber grip is also a little rough/pokey. Needless to say, i was having some regrets about the mouse's price tag. This is a business transaction, you think, the horrible pounding of your heart giving you chest pains. A trade.

Enhanced grip, curved or flattened bodies (like the Logitech MX Master), and a vertical option can all help prevent repetitive strain injuries and other pains caused by sitting at a computer for too long.

Device Layout

As I began playing (casual/tactical) shooters on PC, i came to appreciate having the number row (weapon/equipment) controlled by my thumb. Note that I play games like Battlefield and Insurgency, not Quake. Generally, it's not important for me to keep perfect aim while I use the number row, due to weapon switch delay and whatnot. I've also found the buttons helpful for games with lots of inventory items, like Minecraft and Sea of Thieves. Directly switching to weapons/items is much faster and more reliable than scrolling (or radial menus to some extent), and i don't like taking my hand off of WASD for so long. When on the search for a good Solidworks mouse, a device that has been specifically built for CAD workplaces can’t really be beaten. 3Dconnexion’s SpaceMouse is much more of an investment than others but it’s a perfectly fit for CAD professionals and CAD software thanks to its ergonomic design and buttons.
