So you can probably forgive us for assuming that EA Sports FC 24 would be little more than another sloppy Legacy Edition, albeit one with new branding this time. The same pig, but with sunglasses on it. I didn't have a Megadrive at the time, only a Master System, but a year or so later when my family got a PC I grabbed the CD-ROM version of the first FIFA which was a great port of the Megadrive game but added FMV sections and a full audio commentary. I bought it almost entirely so I could excitedly show it off to my grandparents, and they could see the best version of the game that had amazed them so much. I wish they were around today to see what games have become, it would blow their minds! To be fair I was just playing with words they used for fun, Pretend brought up tantrum and because he wasn't liking the replies he was receiving seemed to start throwing one. No one told Pretend to leave, people exercised their right to oppose his views. With all that said though, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 had very little in the way of new content (the visual style was also indistinguishable from the first game) and yet that received the same rating (8/10) as its predecessor. What gives? Why wasn't that bashed for being ridiculously derivative? Don't get me wrong, I'm one of the dummy-dumb-dumbs who bought the game, but I wouldn't exactly endorse it either, and if I were to cut the score down by virtue of its derivativeness, then Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 should also be given an abysmal score.
