About this deal

Amongst other genetic descendants of Russ, there are those who scent in their Wolfspear kin a silent yearning tor a hearth that will one day be theirs to fortify and defend with the same ferocity that the Fang is defended by the Space Wolves; a stronghold that, like the Fang, will echo with the chanting of sagas and the remembrance of the battle-slain.

III- Emperor's Children · IV- Iron Warriors · VIII- Night Lords · XII- World Eaters · XIV- Death GuardM41 — The Third Purging of Lastrati. Five Companies of Space Wolves are deployed to battle the Red Corsairs in the Lastrati System, but are eventually forced to withdraw. [3] Close Support Squads ( Bloodclaws, Assault Intercessors, Swiftclaws, Skyclaws, Inceptors, Reivers/ Hounds of Morkai, Incursors, Wulfen Fenrisian Wolves) Each Index also needs the full Space Marines faction Index to operate, as they all benefit from the Oaths of Moment army rule and can deploy most of the same core troops and vehicles. Each Chapter also includes a unique Detachment, granting a characterful rule plus bespoke Enhancements and Stratagems to spruce up your Space Marine army. Fenrisian Wolves are Ferocious wolf-like creatures from Fenris that sometimes accompany the Space Wolves into battle. [45d]

Cordon Impenetra (Unknown.M42) - The Dark Krakens Chapter and elements of the Wolfspear are currently fighting a tendril of Hive Fleet Leviathan in the Pankallis Sub-sector of the Octarius Sector. The Dark Krakens 5th Company and other Dark Krakens forces under the command of Captain Krijeni Luceior known as Strike Force Luceior were despatched by Chapter Master Mezonkyi Reio to the three planets in the Bianzeer's Hollow System to clear them of the Tyranid scourge. They were aided by the Wolfspear, which also joined the fighting on the frozen Death World oddly named Death of Bianzeer. Since the introduction of Primaris Space Marines, the Space Wolves under Logan Grimnar have begun to reorganize themselves to accommodate these new warriors. Many of their Fenrisian titles take up roles dictated in the revised Codex Astartes. For example Grey Hunters now take up the role of Suppressors and Wolf Scouts serve as Eliminators. In this way Grimnar has blended the ancient customs of Fenris with the recent changes sweeping the Adeptus Astartes. [53b] Great Companies The Space Wolves are a savage Space Marine Chapter of merciless hunters. They hail from the icy death world of Fenris and strive to emulate the strength, cunning and howling ferocity of their Primarch – Leman Russ, the Wolf King. In their pursuit of the enemies of Mankind across the Sea of Stars, the Space Wolves employ the advanced technology and deadly weapons of the Adeptus Astartes under a skin of seemingly feral barbarity. The armoured flanks of their battle tanks are inscribed with runic totems. In the glare of plasma coils glint the fangs of primitive fetishes and over power armour the colour of threatening storms are hung the pelts of alpha predators. Alongside them lope the giant wolves of their home world, and the Space Wolves take up their loud howls when the warriors' keen senses detect their quarry at last run to ground. With audacious boasts, the taking of impetuous risks and the joyful roars of warriors born, the Space Wolves are a Chapter of heroes who wage war without fear or doubt, each seeking to forge a saga worthy of immortalisation. [2] Contents The Space Wolves have a rather different system of markings than that used by more Codex adherent Chapters. Rather than using the company markings as laid down in the Codex Astartes, the Space Wolves use a number of different wolf symbols to denote the different Great Companies that make up the chapter. These are normally a stylised wolf emblem denoting some aspect of the native Fenrisian mythology. These are chosen by a new Wolf Lord upon his election from the ranks of the Wolf Guard, and are adopted by all of the Space Wolves within the Great Company as a mark of fealty. They are also woven onto the various Great Company banners, The symbol remains with the Great Company until the Wolf Lord falls in battle, whereupon a new Wolf Lord is chosen, and so the badge changes. Dreadnoughts amongst the Space Wolves are referred to as the Sons of Ymir, at least during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy era. During this time sub-formations of Space Wolves Dreadnoughts existed, such as the Eldthursar and Hrimthursar. [40e]Bled dry and haunted by spectral pursuers they cannot shake off, many targets lose the will to flee, and yield easily when the Wolfspear boarding craft finally make impact. Amongst the Wolfspear and most other Ultima Founding successors of the Space Wolves, there are a select few who possess tempestuous psychic abilities. Like the Rune Priests of Fenris, these powerful Astartes battle- psykers wield their mental might to aid their brothers and call down ruinous storms upon their foes. Great Company ( Tra) — Known as the Eagle's Keepers. Consisted of at least 9,800 Space Marines in Assault Squad and support armor roles. Commanded by Jarl Ogvai Ogvai Helmschrot.
