About this deal

Graded implies that the keys feel heavier in the lower registers and lighter on the higher end, just like an acoustic piano. The touch-sensitive Graded Hammer Action (or GHS for short) key-action offers all the authenticity of a ‘real’ piano’s touch, with absolutely no maintenance or tuning required. With a full compliment of 88-keys, the Yamaha P-125A is everything you need for practice and performance, including realistic weighting of the key ranges – heavier at the low end, and lighter toward the top. Yamaha P125 | Sound The British Hawker P.1154 was one of several solutions submitted by European countries to the 1960 NATO NBMR-3 requirement for a supersonic strike fighter. 1960 also saw the first flight of the subsonic VSTOL Hawker P.1127. The P.1154 was cancelled in 1965, but studies continued into the possibility that the Harrier or Jaguar could be replaced by a supersonic STOVL aircraft. [2] However, there are three functions added to the P-255 which makes it slightly better than the P-125: Key-off sampling, sustain sampling, and string resonance. Without going much into detail, these three help create piano sounds almost similar to real acoustic ones. Headphone (1/4″), L/R lines out (1/4″), USB to host ( P-125 is MIDI AND Audio, P-125A is MIDI only!) , sustain pedal input (1/4″), triple pedal unit input The Rest

If you’re going to create your own stuff or just want to listen/evaluate your performance, the P-125 allows you to record your playing in MIDI format, which you can then transfer to your computer. Built in speakers with sound boost feature – perfect for individual practice and no need to connect to an external sound system to start playing A ‘Table EQ’ mode can be engaged to optimise the sound when using the piano on a flat surface like a desk or table rather than a stand. This presumably affects the sound output from the speakers on the underside of the instrument, shifting focus to the top speakers, and seems to do its job effectively. The Yamaha P45 and the P125A have been our go-to options for beginners and gigging musicians for some time now. The Yamaha P125A is clearly a more-rounded performer, with more features and a far richer, fuller sound, and unlike some stage pianos and keyboards with a full 88-note range, the P125A is still able to generate a reliable tone at both of the farthest reaches of its sonic spectrum. Korg B2: Korg’s B2 portable digital piano range includes a variant with a lighter keyboard action, the B2N, plus one that comes with a stand and pedals, the B2SP.

I really enjoy the action on the P-125; it is very fun to play, very “solid” and consistent feeling, not too heavy and not too light and there is no sideways play on the keys whatsoever – you definitely get a sense of a well built product. That being said, since the GHS action is a dual sensor action and does not include escapement, it is not as realistic of an action as some of its competitors. In particular, Roland’s PHA4 action (found on their FP-10, FP-30, FP-30x and FP-60 pianos) is a triple sensor action with escapement; the PHA4 is definitely closer to the feel of an acoustic piano. That doesn’t make the Yamaha GHS action “bad” just not quite as close of a feel to an acoustic piano as the PHA4 is. A very talented reviewer I pay close attention to described the Yamaha GHS action as “2 dimensional but still great to play”, and I think this is a very accurate way to put it. The price for this digital piano may vary, depends on the country or state you are in, and whether you buy brand new or used. You can always do your own due diligence to look for options online. In some cases, you can save more money and effort by buying online. This way you won’t have to deal with additional expenses like gas, etc. Just have the stuff delivered directly to your doorstep. The Final Verdict: Is The Yamaha P-125 Worth Having? Now let’s talk about the second most important aspect of any digital piano – sound. There are several changes that Yamaha has made in this department since the previous model. Split Mode works similar to the Dual Mode, but instead of layering two tones, it splits them between two keyboard zones so you can play one sound with your right hand and another one with your left hand.

It’s definitely not the end of the world, but depending on how you’re planning to use your instrument, it might a handy feature to have. Either way, you can always use your typical USB MIDI connection using some chords/adapters, it’s just with Bluetooth you would be able to connect to your smart devices wirelessly. The P-125 has six (6) different voice categories, with a total of 4 variations or choices for each category: Classic/Grand Piano If you want to learn a few piano lessons or you're looking for one to gift to your niece or nephew, then the Yamaha P-125 is the perfect digital piano to start with. Connect the instrument to Yamaha’s Smart Pianist app, and you’ll find new ways to enjoy the P-125, including touch control of the features of the instrument via your mobile device, and even the means to discover the chords from songs in your iTunes library, to help you learn your favourite songs! Our Thoughts on the P125A

The keyboard is touch-sensitive, which means that the volume/timbre of the sound will change depending on how hard or soft you play the keys.

Bajaj Pulsar 125 Colours

For the P-125, Yamaha has designed a wooden furniture stand ( L-125) that is also compatible with the Yamaha LP-1 triple pedal unit. One (User) song can be stored in the instrument, plus you can load up to two MIDI songs from your computer.
