The National Museums of Scotland are all superb quality and will keep people of all ages entertained. These include the excellent National Museum of Scotland, Museum of Flight, Museum of Rural Life and the National War Museum. For more educational fun try the Glasgow Science Centre.

There is a wealth of wildlife to see in the country. Bring your hiking boots and, if you’re up for the challenge, spend the day heading to the peak of Ben Nevis. At the top you’ll be rewarded with incredible views over the Highlands as well as Lochaber.These are jumbo grass pitches with electric hook-up, suitable for units measuring more than 5m x 9m. The country's two fantastic main cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh both offer a wide range of cultural delights. Edinburgh is arguably the prettier of the two cities and hosts a number of festivals, including the world famous Edinburgh Festival. Impressive Glasgow is has an edgier arts and music scene – the first class Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum has one of the best collections of art in Europe. These are hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up, suitable for a standard sized tent, caravan or motorhome. It's not all about exploring outdoors though. If you're looking for something a bit different get informed and do some much-needed tasting at the Cairngorm Brewery. Also well worth visiting is beautiful Rothiemurchus and Loch an Eilein with its strikingly situated 13th century castle. Outside the farm, an adventure play area is equipped with a giant sandpit, giro cars, slides or you can watch a pig race and keep your fingers crossed that your favourite pig crosses the finish line first.
