It was a nice book, a cute read but just not the type of book I usually read and prefer which is probably why I didn't like it that much and why I gave it a 3.45 . Hayley was nice but the fact that she is a cheerleader was mentioned way too much. Like I get it, she's popular cheerleader and she's not like other girls (also her liking Taylor Swift and Mean Girls). A lot of miscommunication. At least I felt like with how uncertain the characters felt about themselves and whether they were worth loving this made sense. They didn’t see themselves as the other saw them so it was easy to think they couldn’t be loved. So it worked for me.

We’d all been given a poetry assignment for homework, and Owen’s was so good the teacher had asked him to read it out in front of the class. I could immediately see why, because the poem was beautiful. It had shown there was so much more to him than the star footballer the school knew and loved. There was a thoughtful and deep soul buried beneath the layers of humor and frivolity. His words had laid his troubled heart bare, and I’d fallen for him right there in class. It certainly didn’t hurt that he was gorgeous and had only grown hotter over the years. I loved getting to know Hayley and Ethan. Hayley is very loud and bold while Ethan was more reserved around people. However, my favorite moments were seeing Ethan with his band, doing what he loved. I didn’t know I had a thing for guys in bands until I read this book. This book has me seriously considering hitting up local venues to watch small-time bands. Anyone else in?

Hayley has her eyes set on the popular twin next door, Owen, for her prom date. Her promposal doesn’t quite go as planned and ends up in a fake relationship with Owen’s nerdy and muso twin brother, Ethan. Their secret operation is to make Owen notice Hayley and hopefully end up asking her to prom. Little does Hayley know that Ethan has been crushing on her for years and is glad of the opportunity to spend more time with her, even if it is a fake relationship. However, her promposal doesn't exactly go to plan, and when Owen's twin swoops in to 'save' her, she ends up in the arms of the wrong brother. She might still have a chance with Owen though. Ethan knows his brother better than anyone, and he seems to think a bit of good old fashioned jealousy might just get Owen to ask Hayley to the prom himself. If you haven’t read the first two books, I’d recommend reading them before reading this one. It isn’t necessary since they’re all from different POVs and about different relationships, but it’ll make the experience that much sweeter. The first is The Wrong Bachelor and the second is The Wrong Costar. Rating: 5/5As in the second book, we got a little cameo of a lot of the characters from the first and second books. It always makes me smile when I see familiar characters and get a little reassurance that their relationships are still going great. this series gave me a love/hate relationship with dual pov it was great knowing everything that was happening but it made me want to scream at the characters mostly Alright, so I feel like middle ground has finally been reached. The first book was a five star read. The second book was a three star read. This book is a four star read.
