About this deal

I had the intention of cleaning the whole set, but didn’t feel the need, so just resleeved and moved on. Also among the early tracks in that part of the collection are “Fortune Teller,” “Bye Bye Johnny” and the second version of “Poison Ivy.

The Rolling Stones: Studio Albums Vinyl Collection 1971

Stray Cats' is a double LP exclusive to this box set containing all non-lp tracks released in the 1960s. listening to exactly what went down in the studio, no frills, no nothing,” Keith Richards wrote in his autobiography, Life . The only complaint I have is the quality of the album cover artwork on a couple of the LPs, really just the UK Aftermath and Between the Buttons. Matrix / Runout (Runout side Q, etched / "MPO 18 04025" stamped): 0602557974645 A MPO 18 04025 MILES. Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, etched / "MPO 18 14813" stamped): 0602557974508 A² MPO 18 14813 MILES.Just this from me, an oldfart 72 years old: I'm very happy I'm still alive to enjoy this magic of quality by the early Stones. If you get the three studio versions of UK studio albums before Aftermath, you would not need The Rolling Stones England's Newest Hit Makers or Hot Rocks 1964-1971 (other albums have Paint It Black). The 16 LPs or 15 CDs are housed in the original full-color album jackets that fit along with the book into a one-piece specially crafted box.

The box it’s housed in is nice and sturdy, it has a flap you pull up and over to pull out records (no way to preserve plastic, they’re making you take all plastic off), the LP’s all come in individual plastic outer sleeves similar to what “Music on Vinyl” uses, no anti static sleeves on these records, A nice gloss on all album covers, lastly I can confidently say the sound is very clear, vocals nice and clear with a nice punch from the drums. During this period, most rock and pop recordings were mixed in mono, with the stereo version often an afterthought, and only dealt with following the completion of the original (mono) version of a given track. The records come packaged in an unusual outer box with a ‘wraparound’ flap at the top with a magnetic clasp. It contains most of the group's British and American studio albums from the 1960s in mono format, on fifteen compact discs or sixteen vinyl records. Paint It Black" includes a comma ("Paint It, Black"), replicating that mistake from initial releases. The only track you need on Stray Cats is Con Le Mie Lacrime (which I would have as a single digital). If you would keep listing to Stray Cats throughout your life than it is not worth getting Singles Collection: The London Years since all The Rolling Stones tracks are on the CD box set besides Paint It, Black (Mono Extended Version) that is on Forty Licks.

While typical playback systems of the time were less than sophisticated, the original mono recordings, especially as heard through quality components, were of the highest audio quality and had a powerful and very direct impact. K. discographies, organized to include every track from the era while minimizing catalog redundancies. Studio tracks of the three UK studio albums by The Rolling Stones that is before Aftermath is on the first five US Studio albums. I was expecting disappointment from all of the crap I read about the covers looking scanned and then having GZ Media be the pressing plant (they have a very spotty history with quality control), but. The set contains both the UK and US versions of the Out Of Our Heads and Aftermath albums of 1965 and 1966 respectively.
