About this deal

If you're using an external storage device – perhaps an NVMe drive you've put in one of the best SSD enclosures– you’d benefit a great deal from using a hub that supports 10 Gbps connections – alternatively known as USB 3.1 Gen 2 or USB 3.2 Gen 2. Unfortunately, very few USB hubs actually support these higher speeds and even fewer still support the 10 Gbps speed when it comes from a Type-A, rather than a Type-C, port. Incredibly Durable】The USB C Splitter constructed with double-braided exterior and aluminum alloy casing to ensure that it doesn’t wear out over time. Any extra connectivity? Some USB-C hubs will come with HDMI out, allowing you to connect to a monitor, provided that your PC can output video from its Type-C port. Other hubs have microSD or SD card readers built-in. Super Fit】With this Type-C spiltter, you can connect usb-c mouse, usb-c keyboard, usb-c flash disk, usb-c card reader etc to your USB C decvice. you can also connect the usb-c hard disk.(need to connect the external power)

When two random USB-C chargers or ports are together, the user is absolutely safe. There is no harm that can come to them by connecting two hosts or sources together. However, when two active power supplies are connected, there is a chance that the situation might become unsafe and problematic. Q2. Is USB 3.0 the same as USB-C? USB C Male to Dual USB C Female Cable】This USB C to Dual USB C Female Cable provides two USB-C ports so that you can easily connect USB-C peripherals to your new USB-C enabled devicesWe also connected an Android phone to the ports and recorded how many volts and amps it received. The phone charging test was probably the most realistic as it showed what kind of volts and amps a real device would negotiate with the hub. https://www.minitool.com/lib/usb-splitter.html#:~:text=or%20USB%20Hub-,An%20Overview%20of%20USB%20Splitter,and%20other%20devices

PAY ATTENTION TO THE LIMITATION】The C Splitter does NOT for monitors,Only support ONE audio outputs two usb-c port can not work with 2 headphone at the same time(NOT For Power input ),NOT for monitor display,Do NOT work with HDMI cable, Apple Watch. This is a USB-C female to USB-C male adapter designed forpower output or data transfer and it will NOT support video signal transmission.Support 5V/0.9A power output.Output ports: Make sure you get enough ports to attach the number of devices you’re likely to need. Most USB hubs have at least 3, more often 4, output ports, but at your desk, you may need a lot more than that. Also, consider whether you are attaching any USB-C devices (most output ports on hubs are Type-A). Keep in mind that the hub’s power port is for taking power into your laptop, and not outto a phone. But your hub may still be able to charge your phone, with some caveats. A “bus-powered” USB hub connects to your laptop and pulls power from it, which it has share with several devices—and it won’t do it that well. You must ensure both hubs are connected to a computer that is relatively new. This is because connecting multiple devices to an old computer can result in the computer having slowed performance. Anyone who works with microcontrollers such as the Raspberry Pi Pico or any Arduino board knows that most of these devices don't have on / off switches or even reset buttons. So, if you change code and need to restart them or you just want to power them off, you often need to yank the plug in and out, a huge hassle that could damage your gear. But with the Sabrent HB-B7C3, you can just toggle power on whatever port your microcontroller is plugged into. All MacBooks and many of the best Ultrabooks come with only USB-C ports, and just a couple of them. That’s why there are so many portable USB hubs that connect to a computer via a built-in USB-C cable and then provide a few Type-A ports, along with some extra goodies such as an HDMI out or a card reader. Anker’s PowerExpand 4-in-1 USB-C hub has one whiz-bang feature we haven’t seen anywhere else, and that’s a built-in 256GB SSD.

The USB hub allows the user to connect about 6 to 7 different devices to the computer. This expands the functions the computer can perform and gives the user a chance to do all they need to do while having one single device. Can you have multiple USB-C ports? Upstream connection (Type-A or Type-C?): USB hubs have multiple downstream ports to connect to your devices but only one upstream connector, which could be a port but is often a built-in wire that connects to your computer. Many laptops, including a lot of the best Ultrabooks, only have USB-C ports, so your hub's upstream connector would have to be Type-C. This Splitter, Hub, or aka OTG Adapter must be able to charge the Quest at full speed, I'm currently using a J5 Create Hub, And sadly it's not able to keep up with the Quest's Power Draw... While USB-C splitters don’t currently exist, there are many other alternatives to allow a user to connect multiple devices to a computer. These devices can be used to perform multiple tasks at the same time. A USB-C hub can be used to do exactly that! There are different generations, such as USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, as well as USB-C cables and chargers available everywhere. Sources

Overall, Anker’s hub is well designed, with adequate spacing between the two 5Gbps USB-A ports. There’s also a 5Gbps USB-C connection for data, plus a second USB-C port for power input at up to 85W rated. (The charger allows up to 100W in, but supplies 85W.) An HDMI port allows for 4K/30Hz video or 1080p/60Hz video to a single external display, standard for the category. Ethernet is excluded, however, so you’ll need to use Wi-Fi instead. Cord length is about 8.5 inches, above the standard 6-inch length. Speed: Most USB hubs operate at standard USB 3.0 (aka USB 3.2 Gen 1) speeds of 5 Gbps. However, a few can deliver 10 Gbps. There are also some cheapies that are limited to USB 2; avoid those at all costs.
