About this deal
Rising streetwear brand RHUDE is the epitome of youthful sophistication and attitude. For their first collaboration with PUMA, RHUDE takes a new look at rebellion, focusing not on its cause but on its cure. The collection blends modern streetwear with vintage suiting, accented by details that allude to medical elements like tiled flooring, lab coats and bright, menthol green accents.
The genre is believed to have begun life at a party held by DJ duo Cindy and Clive Campbell in the Bronx in August 1973 – and Villaseñor's new suede shoes have plugged into that cultural moment. The Puma 'B-Boy' Suede is dressed in a petal pink fabric, meanwhile, the rear of each shoe has been printed with the numbers “19” and “91”, a nod to the years when New York b-boying became a thing. Then there's the Suede's signature Formstrip in a crisp white colour.
