As with all celebrity marketing, sales will be most influenced initially by the fame of the person whose name is on the bottle. Repeat sales will hopefully be decided on the quality of the product. However cynical it might sound to fragrance iconoclasts, there have been some truly wonderful celebrity perfumes made through this combination of fame and fragrance Britney Spears Perfumes: Which Is Best? A nice easy grab and go, nothing mind blowing in terms of longevity but for the price it is very decent, just needs over spraying a little! It's without a doubt Delicious!

My two cents on this is this, it can smell very different depending on how you wear this. If you like fruity patchouli I recommend you wear this on clothes because it keeps that scent for a very long time. If it's the sweet notes that appeal then definitely wear this on your skin the patchouli vanishes and the cupcake comes out. This takes time to develop into the bakery style on me but it does get there in the end. No other perfume flankers get me so excited as do Fantasies. With a few mediocre exceptions these potions of happy never fail do entice me. Sure, Fantasy was supposed to be something teenage girls would wear as someone very clever in the marketing team assumed that they would be drawn to smell of sweet edible high calorie things. And they do exactly that, whilst retaining classic perfume pyramid development with top, heart and base notes which makes them quite different from most other celebrity gourmands with their linear monotonous meh. Received this yesterday. You can tell it has the DNA of the original Fantasy, but when I say original, I mean the new reformulated version. I was getting excited that this may have more of the warm cupcake/white chocolate feel as the original early formulation did but alas, it didn’t. HOWEVER, I Just got this in the mail. And i LOVE IT!!! You can DEFINITELY tell that Electric Fantasy is a part of the Fantasy Fragrance line because of it being SUPER sweet and syrupy. But this is NOTHING like any of Britneys other perfumes. This is the first time Pink Pepper is used and it STANDS OUT!!! That is the main note you smell throughout the entire fragrance. It's amazing.

The bottle is the typical Fantasy design and it features a beautiful, deep pink color as the main color of the bottle with gold 'gems' dotted over the bottle. They did a great job making this a more grown up version of the original Fantasy while still pleasing the fans of the original and still keeping it youthful. Is this groundbreaking? Not necessarily, but it doesn't have to be. This is a feminine, non-offensive, enjoyable, easy-to-reach-for fragrance. I kept it on my bathroom counter and sprayed liberally for several days, but it just didn’t have any lasting power. I saw another commenter compare it to Valentino Donna Born in Roma. I don’t agree with that much at all, other than the sweet/vanillic notes. I keep a bottle of the Valentino in my desk at work, and also have one at home. It is so much more expensive smelling, and has amazing projection and longevity. People compliment me on it consistently. I never received one compliment on Britney Spears Electric Fantasy, which makes me think nobody else could smell it, either. I eventually re-sold it on Mercari.

This smells like being enveloped in a sweet, fluffy pink cloud. I get the lime, cloudberry and delicious cotton candy. A bit more sophisticated than the original Fantasy which I had years ago but gave to my sister as I found it a bit too sweet. For me, Fantasy Intense is a bit more rounded and grounded however still maintaining some yumminess and sweetness........I bought it on the spot! Yes, Fantasy Sheer starts out Kiwi and develops into a delicate cupcake note. But it is all a whisper, it is sheer. In a lovely way. But oh how I wish the cupcake was stronger. It is almost a high quality body spray of Fantasy - the new formulation, *not* the old one.Electric fantasy is a sweet, slightly tart fruity floral that is very versatile and I think it would suit any season, any age. A very uplifting light hearted fragrance. This is my easy grab and go fragrance that I can wear in the house or out running errands. Smells identical to Azzaro Wanted girl. I think this needs cooler weather. It smells like ginger spiced play doh just like wanted girl in the summer heat. I'll have to try this in the fall. It starts off like Burberry Her even has that patchouli smell, which I don't like and wasn't expecting. I have too many fragrances with this scent profile and it doesn't work with my chemistry. I really hope it changes into something wearable when the weather changes. I was wondering why there had been 2-3 perfumes released in 2021 (Fantasy Intense, Sheer, and Electric), but Intense and Sheer smell like the original, so really the only drastically 'new' perfume for 2021 is the Electric Fantasy.

Edit: Festive fantasy is creamier and warmer than midnight. That plum note is still very reminiscent of midnight. It’s interesting that it evokes Believe which I recently wore and reviewed. But this is a cupcake gourmand. This is woody like Glitter is Oud. Britney style. Quiet.Lasting power disappeared an hour later as i just couldn't smell it anymore! This just does not last at all. It's so light on the skin, even in the sun. This nutty element reminds me of perfect intense by Marc Jacobs (although they aren’t dupes at all by the way, just that initial nutty scent is familiar). There is something green and leafy alongside the sweet-but-fresh citrus & berry fruit blend, and it's accompanied by the candy floss accord, that comes and goes throughout Rainbow Fantasy's wear. Edit: the longevity is weaker than MidnightF., even after the dry down i still think its a dupe, with maybe a light warm sweetness instead of sour sweet. I really dont see much of a difference between midnight and festive, maybe festive is a bit more wearable and less offensive? I'm still so stumped as to why Britney would release this. Someone mentioned that this smells like Lovespell from Victoria secret, if i remember correctly the love spell that i got at la senza smells similar but not exactly the same. similar enough to remind me of it though.

I never tried the original Fantasy in its day, but oh gosh were its ads EVERYWHERE (and for Curious too). I needed to satisfy another childhood curiosity, but wasn't particularly buzzed by the sharp fruit to cupcake approach of the OG. However, I was tempted by this description of deeper, and of course the beautiful bottle. The projection is great. I smell like sugary, sweet, candied-kiwi cake for about the first 3 hours of wear. The Rainbow bottle is utterly gorgeous in person. The photos don't do it justice at all. Its worth getting just to have the bottle and that is something I definitely wouldn't normally do. It IS the prettiest Fantasy bottle yet. So this leads into the review. Was out at Walmart shopping and was strolling the perfume aisle when I took a double glance at Fantasy Intense sitting there. I couldn't believe it. It had gotten to the point where I wasn't seeing even the regular Fantasy out there and yet this perfume pops up? It was by itself and I didn't see a price on it or nearby. It was also a big bottle and I don't normally see those out there. I decided to gamble and bought it.YES, the notes are terrifying, and I am about ready to blind buy it right now! Cloudberry? I love caviar notes and cannot imagine them with cotton candy. Kind of a gourmand fruity Womanity? That could go south real fast or it could be wonderful. At any rate, sounds like an adventure.
