About this deal

Many people like to know who they’re doing business with. It brings comfort knowing you’re dealing with an experienced and well established brand that has the capability of providing you a quality product and a good experience. With the TS 3000 and the rest of the TS series, Mars Hydro is a trustworthy new entrant to the quantum board grow light market: Attention 2: Veg stage lasts for several weeks. Gradually and Slowly increasing the dimming scale and decreasing the height is the best way to find a suitable distance. You’ll note the light intensity hardly fades at all on the Spider Farmer compared to the older boxy purple LED grow lights. Energy efficiency: LED grow lights are known for their energy efficiency compared to other lighting options. Look for lights that have a high energy efficiency rating, such as those labeled as “Energy Star” or with high efficacy (measured in micromoles per joule, μmol/J). Energy-efficient lights will help you save on electricity costs in the long run. We found that the way the TS series by Mars Hydro and especially the 3000w version mimic direct sunlight was pretty much ideal for indoor growing. Something only a few years ago was hard to replicate Mars Hydro TS 3000 Review Yield

Mine came with a handy measuring tape so you can accurately measure the distance between your light and your plants. It also comes with a hanging kit.Grow lights for succulents, leafy greens, herbs, green houseplants, and as supplemental lighting: TS600, SP150, TS1000 The spectrum included with Spider Farmer lights is exactly what you want and need for growing cannabis, or other types of plants. It consists of 3000K white, 5000K white, 660nm Red, and 760nm Infrared diodes. All together they make up a nice full spectrum white light. Dimming and Daisy Chain

The bar design spreads the light more evenly across the canopy compared to the more compact square design seen on grow lights like the SF series. Don’t get me wrong, the SF Series will perform great in your grow tent, the Spider Farmer SE Series are just another of many options available to home growers.First of all, these lights at full power do produce a very high PAR level at 3 feet or more from the top of the plants. Most of the information on the internet states that flower plants, such as tomatoes and pepper, require 700-800 PAR. I tried this PAR on my pepper plants, and the leaves started turning upside down. I found out that plants absorb light on the upper part of the leaves. When the light is too strong, the leaves turn upside down to reduce the light absorption. I was also finding that tomatoes on my tomato plants were developing a tough brown skin. This is also a defense for too much light. When I raised the lights to provide the plants with 500-600 PAR, the leaves started growing normally and my tomatoes stopped developing a tough brown skin. I also found that greens and many of the herbs do well with a PAR level of 200-400. The grow light distance for plants in the flowering growth phase will vary by grow light. It’s fairly safe to assume 18-24 inches distance for grow lights in the 200-400 watt range. Above that power level you’ll be in the 24 to 30 inch range. FC Series LED grow lights are for growers who cultivate plants of medium-to-low height. This does not mean that the FC series is not suitable for tall crops. The FC6500 and FC8000 have enough excellent light penetration to provide a reliable light source for tall plants. However, compared to Mars Hydro's SP series, the FC series performs better with medium-height and low plants. The Mars Hydro TS series LED grow lights are for growers who are just starting to grow indoors, for growers on a budget, for beginners who are willing to grow their own medical crops at home, and for growers whose main focus is gardening, green foliage and a variety of ornamental plants. The TS series has just the right, not overly-intense light intensity for most home grows, especially inside grow tents.

I don't grow marijuana and don't use a grow tent, but grow most of our vegetables in our basement in two grow rooms. These lights are used in the room that contains larger plants such as beefsteak tomatoes, bell peppers and other peppers, basil, and a number of herbs such as a couple varieties of thyme, a few varieties of oregano, rosemary, marjoram, and more. We have wallpapered the walls in the large plant room with Mylar to reflect light from the fixtures. My lights are placed about 4' apart on the ceiling, so lighting equally covers space between them. The actual spacing between the fixtures is 14". I generally keep the lights at least 24" -3 More specifically, the spectrum on the Mars Hydro TS 3000 consists of 660-665nm, 3000K-3200K, 6000K-6500K, and 760nm (infrared). Together it makes up a full white spectrum that’ll take your plants from seedling to flowering under one lamp. HLG is American made, so that factors into their slightly higher cost. But HLG actually offers a wider variety of models, including DIY kits that help their prices compete a lot better with similar brands. Spider Farmer only offers three pre-assembled options at the moment. There is an 8 foot power cord attached to the driver, which is detachable from the grow light so you can keep the driver outside your grow tent to keep temperatures down.

Q & A

Wattage and coverage area: Consider the size of your grow space and the number of plants you plan to cultivate. Ensure the LED grow light you choose has sufficient wattage and coverage area to adequately cover and provide light for your plants. The manufacturer should provide recommendations for the maximum coverage area based on the light’s specifications. The light intensity is directly correlated to the growth of your plants. If you’re tempted to buy a less expensive model be sure to keep that in mind. Cooling system: LED lights can generate heat, so it’s important to choose a model with an effective cooling system to prevent overheating. Look for grow lights with built-in fans, heat sinks, or other cooling mechanisms to ensure proper heat dissipation and extend the lifespan of the light.
