About this deal

Once again I find myself beginning my review before finishing. I'm only three chapters in and I'm already ensnared and enthralled so much that jotting my thoughts down as I go is a must. These characters are just that engrossing to read! Not to mention the beginnings of the plot and I just know the interactions between Jenn and Miles is going to increase right along with the tension and chemistry. I'm on pins and needles with the anticipation! There are no triggers in this book, but it does mention the loss of loved ones, grief, mental illness, and recreational drugs. There are no explicit details on these topics, but I just wanted to mention these in case. I recently lost a grandparent and this book hit close to home for me. Not going to lie, I teared up in this book and some moments really gripped my heart strings that made me think of all my loved ones that have passed before me. I am intrigued by Wyatt Emory and Meadow and fingers crossed there will be a book about them in the future. I would love to know more about their story and where Wyatt fits in with the Heart’s Edge crew. I love that series and it’s one of my favorites. I also would love to see if there will be a book about Eliza. close loving relationship with Lottie and Miles is the only one that can truly make Cream and Coffee, Gram’s Dobermans mind. He finally finds himself hiring her marketing expertise to help whip his marketing team into shape and revive Pinnacle Point’s sagging tourism trade. They find themselves drawn to each other with her beginning to thaw towards him and then him turning cold and retreating behind his icy wall of restraint. As they begin to find themselves truly falling for each other an enemy from his past looms and Miles refuses to open up and let Jenn help him with what turns out to be a massive smear campaign from the ultimate “woman scorned”. Months and tears and Jenn’s dogged investigation skills help them to finally reunite. I didn’t like she played with another’s heart because she was afraid of her own feelings, she should act on them or not but she does not add someone else into the fray.

What I didn't like? The weirdo meet up and the cinnamon bun fiasco that continued to be an annoying part of the story until the very end. The FMC was pissed that the MC wanted to buy the last cinnamon roll from her - since she bought the last one at the bakery that day. Sure, he was a bit jerky, but the FMC made a huge deal about this and basically hated him for the next 30% of the book based on that first interaction. Super strange and I was pretty annoyed by that whole storyline. Since then Snow aims for the very best in growly, heart-of-gold alpha heroes, unbelievable suspense, and swoon storms aplenty. Miles Cromwell is a loaner. He is a big bad CEO for his family’s billion-dollar company Cromwell-Narada. But he spends as much time living in his paradise on Pinnacle Pointe. Miles loved his next-door neighbor Lottie Risa, she understood him, was his only friend, and now she’s gone. Lottie left him a note telling him that her Granddaughter Jennifer would probably want to sell the property and if he wanted to buy it….and he did, he should move fast. Gram also left Jenn a note telling her the history of the property and her hopes that Jenn would want to re-invigorate the bed and breakfast and live there. Such a crafty little old match-making lady! Making his rounds to Seattle Wired stores, CEO Cole Lancaster was not prepared for the little spitfire that got all up in his face about coffee. Not believing that he was CEO or knew anything about coffee. As she leaves his teenage daughter spots that she left a mason cup filled with coffee and tries it. Cooing over how wonderful it is, has him wondering if she could be the answer to re-igniting Wired with a younger audience. One Bossy Offer” is an enemies-to-lovers, grumpy-sunshine, sexy neighbor next door story by Nicole Snow. It’s the fourth book in the ‘Bossy Seattle Suits’ series of slightly interconnected standalone stories. If you’re familiar with any of the other books that came before this one, you’ll enjoy the cameos and cross references of some characters and locations. find you a guy who'll step down as a ceo so he isn't spending all his time on work and make you "his first and last priority" — LINCOLN BURNS, YOU ARE SO???! I found her on Booksprout and received the ARC for this book so I thought it was a perfect way to see what I thought about her writing and I am in love with her style! While Oh My 😱, how I loved Miles, he is such a wounded bear, lashing out because he is in pain all the while being a real softy inside.

One Bossy Proposal (Bossy Seattle Suits) by Nicole Snow

Miles is the bossy next-door neighbor who wants to buy it. Of course, he's not happy when she turns down his offer so he tries something different, he offers her a job to help her pay for the expensive repairs but also to help him with the advertising his company is in desperate need for. He hopes in time, she will see that he isn’t as bad as she thinks he is. I almost didn't finish this. It was ... not good. This is the kind of cheese that made me abstain from any romance books until very recently. After the middle, it was a little fast paced for me after H punched out h's ex... we didn't get to go too deep into the angst, which left me feeling disconnected. Inheriting a bad-tempered boss brings the sweetest insanity in this roaring funny and shamelessly steamy grumpy-sunshine romance from Wall Street Journal bestselling author Nicole Snow. This book is filled with all kinds of emotions and I felt each one of them anger, hatred, love, and loss.

This is such a good Nicole Snow series. Like, amazing. She's so hit or miss. This series? Fantastic. Every book has been awesome, and this one was super awesome. Just like with the rest of the books of the series, it's enemies to lovers, and it does have some amazing banter and fun sections. It reads as a standalone, but I recommend starting from the beginning of the series because you'll get mentions here and there. Just an FYI: Snow's whole library of books is interconnected, so she'll reference all kinds of people from other books.

Pretend we're engaged. Smile for pretty photos like we're soulmates. Dress up like we're actually getting married. I've read most of the books Ms. Snow has written and this is only the third book I've given a 1 or 2-star rating. I usually love her books. In fact, the last book I read by her, "No Fair Lady," I had this to say in my review: Stunning, incredible, breath-taking, masterpiece. This book was more than just Enemy to lovers. This had office romance, sexy neighbor, grandmother interference, grumpy billionaire and sunshine. Dakota Poe, twenty-four, has a lot of attitude. The jaded blonde beauty has a super sweet side, but she also has a strong feisty streak that won’t be tamed. She recently moved to Seattle and hopes to make it her forever home. She comes from Dallas, North Dakota. Many of Dallas’s younger folks eventually move away to bigger cities, but until last spring, Dakota had hoped to stay. Jay Foyt broke her heart and forever crushed her dreams of a happily ever after when he failed to show up on their wedding day. Being abandoned and humiliated is hard to live down in a small town. She no longer believes in love, so she is working on her career. She pounced on the opportunity when presented with a job offer in Seattle, but the pay leaves something to be desired and the work is not rewarding. She is therefore looking for something better. Dakota loves writing, and like her distant relative, she gravitates toward poetry. Being related to Edgar Allen Poe has long led to jokes, but she shares in the dark vibe of her ancestor. She won the Young National Poet’s award while in high school, and she hopes to eventually find more time to pursue her poetry. A little help from beyond the grave helps get Miles and Jenn’s relationship started and has a beautiful link in the ultimate HEA.

One Bossy Proposal: An Enemies to Lovers Romance - Goodreads

Full-length enemies-to-lovers romance loaded with uh-ohs. Office banter, pastry mischief, slow-burn spice, plus one bossy suit who might stop stomping around long enough to realize he's falling hopelessly in love. Lincoln Burns, thirty-two, is the bossy billionaire CEO of Haughty But Nice, an upscale fashion empire. Their focus is quality, and they tend to steer away from over-the-top designs. It is a family company, and he took over the helm when his mother retired shortly after his father’s death. Lincoln worked his way through his grief and has not stopped since. He has brought modern business ideas to the job, and it has paid off in spades. His newest project is the launch of a wedding line, but the endeavor isn’t cheap, so there is also great risk. Marketing will be critical to their success. Besides grieving his father’s death, Lincoln’s workaholic tendencies have a few more motivations. His best friend, Wyatt Emory, has had a rough time since they left the Marines. Lincoln took note of the power of love to ruin a man. His own experience with love blew up, too, when plans to spend his life with Regina Swann ended in disaster. Even his parents’ perfect marriage had a lesson for him. Lincoln has decided that work, not love, is a more worthwhile use of time, and with Haughty But Nice, he has found purpose. He only does one-nighters, but even those haven’t interested him in quite some time. What I didn't like? The weirdo meet up and the cinnamon bun fiasco that continued to be an annoying part of the story until the very end. The FMC was pissed that the MC wanted to buy the last cinnamon roll from her - since she b Overall, even though desperate actions begat devastating heartbreak, determination followed up with a heartfelt plea is frantically made for a second chance to make everything whole once again. Miles worked hard to mend Jenn's broken heart and it's clear this couple is meant to be. Ms. Snow is master storyteller, beginning to end and I absolutely love the HEA ending as it paints a beautiful, promising, loving and fulfilling future. Am I rating this 4 stars because it's objectively good? Or because I was specifically in the mood for an office romance and this hit each and every spot for me? We will never know.As Miles is introduced he is an emotionally closed off cynic, yet has the heart of an artist. The fact that Jenn’s dogs love him is enough for me to stay in his corner no matter how much I want to shake him sometimes! Although he is the CEO of a huge media firm his fumbling attempts at personal communication with Jenn are often cringe worthy. But, you just can’t help hoping he can do better next time.
