However if the shades are very different this is usually attributable to a lack of stirring before and during application.

Providing durable and long lasting protection, Cuprinol Decking Stain contains invisible anti-slip microbeads which in turn helps to improve overall grip, making decking safer than untreated decking.On previously stained decking, touch up bare areas and allow to dry before finishing with further coats. Cuprinol Anti-Slip Decking Stain is a water based decking stain that is suitable for use on all softwood and hardwood decking. To maintain the surface finish and its anti-slip properties, re-apply a fresh coat of Cuprinol Anti-Slip Decking Stain when the surface starts to show signs of wear, following the Preparation and Application instructions above. Decking that has already been previously coated with paint or decking stain must be stripped back to its natural bare wood before application can begin. It is also important to note that overall final colour will depend on wood type, previous treatments and the number of coats that have been applied. Do not apply in temperatures below 5℃, in damp conditions or if rain is likely before the product has dried. Before full application of cuprinol decking stain, we always recommend testing out a small area on your decking surface to ensure you are happy with the products overall adhesion and finish. Providing an overall rich and transparent colour, it features long lasting weather protection, whilst also providing coverage of up to 12 sq m per litre and can be easily applied with either a brush or roller. If you come across any holes or gaps on your wooden surface, these should also be filled in before starting.Any areas that have been affected by mould or mildew, should be treated immediately with a suitable mould and mildew cleaner. To begin, stir the decking stain thoroughly, and then apply 2-3 coats evenly along the grain, avoiding any overlaps where possible.
