About this deal

He holds meetings and retreats in the UK and Europe, clearly and directly pointing to the frustrations surrounding the spiritual search, to the nature of mind, and to the Clarity at the heart of everything. His uncompromising approach, full of humor and compassion, shatters the mind's hopes for a future awakening, revealing the awakening that is always already present, right in the midst of life.

It’s okay to break other people’s bones, in fact it is encouraged. It is best to weed out the weak so we can build a stronger community. If you are looking for a good book, of Mediative Poetry, one that will remind you of the importance of taking a moment just to breathe, I highly recommend You Were Never Broken. Indeed - I recall a former (young) colleague of mine some years ago bemoaning why his tyres and especially brakes only lasted about 10k/1year. I think a lot about my hands. For me it’s an image that’s very specific. We used to cut the hay-fields. There was a lot of hay, and we’d be on the tractor for weeks in a row every day, running around in circles. And I would just stare at my hands. I used to write a lot of poetry about hands. Since I was pretty young, I wondered, ‘What will my hands be doing? Will they hold kids?” I had no idea they’d play guitar. I started to believe that if I watch what my hands do, I’d have a better idea of what I was thinking, consciously or subconsciously. I felt very overwhelmed reading the book and I read some parts multiple times before moving on as they truly touched something deep inside of me and forced me to recognize I needed some healing.Just like previous volumes, the words are so relatable. I find myself feeling so seen and heard and so not alone! This is a book about accepting yourself and the way your mind works unapologetically and finding joy in the simple act of existing. It wants you to be able to simply be, however you are, and to realize that you are not a broken individual.

Reading this book is like having a long conversation with a dear and trusted friend where no matter what you say or express or feel, you are loved and accepted. Yes, it's exactly like that! I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers. Poems for accepting all that you are—including those parts of yourself that you wish you could disown You were never broken is a sweet collection of poems about the obstacles we face in everyday life. Jeff weaves an interesting commentary on the situations we face everyday, the feeling of inadequacy that rules our emotions sometimes as well as how we can work to be in the present moment. The poems are divided into 4 collections, each with its own preamble at the beginning. I really liked these introductions because they gave insight about the poet and his life, giving more context to the poems that I was reading, rather than just freely interpreting them. One day, she went inside the count's room. The room that she was instructed to never enter during the day. There she saw the count's true form. He was truly horrendous. Hundreds of eyes, four legs, he was neither human nor animal."This book is a book of poems broken up into four different sections within the book and each section has information from the poet about the forthcoming poetry, his experiences etc and is then followed by poems.

As a reader, I found immense comfort in Sara's words. I was going through a difficult time recovering from an "almost" relationship/situationship, and the guidance provided in the book helped me on my journey of healing. This poetry book was quite literally an emotional rollercoaster. But it was close to home, comforting, healing and reassuring. The report by MotorEasy focuses on cars that are outside of their manufacturer warranty period, looking at three years’ worth of data that covers 53,226 warranties and car repairs. The warranty company told me to take it to Halfords Autocentre, but they didn't do gearbox repairs.... If it’s the metatarsal – the next bone up from the toe – that’s broken, fractures can still often heal without any kind of plaster as long as the foot is rested. This is because the bones on either side tend to hold each other straight, acting as a natural splint and in 80% of cases the bones remain in the correct place even when broken. But if there are wounds indicating an open fracture, or the bone won’t go into rightful position, it might need treatment. This is more likely in the bone below the big toe because it doesn’t have the support of the other bones holding it in place. Likewise, fractures of the bone below the little toe on the outside of the foot can sometimes require surgery or a cast. This book truly spoke to me. It established a connection with the reader from the very beginning. I felt as if Foster was speaking directly to me, and it was so relaxing and helpful that sometimes the tone of the book turned into the voice of my psychologist (whom I am a huge fan of) so this was a welcomed surprise.

Seriously, if you're grieving the loss of a relationship. Whether you were the one to walk away, or the one left behind. Read this. It will give you a brand new perspective of self-love; of how to love and be loved. The positive message I think anyone could benefit from is: "you are not broken. You were never broken. Don't let them tell you that you are broken." The poems encourage embracing every part of life, feeling the pain and joy, and living. Some of the poems I couldn't connect with. Maybe I will in another stage of life. Maybe I won't. It didn't detract from the beauty of the words in this book, or the enjoyment and connection I felt reading it.Thismightsoundadaftquestionbutdoyoutendtoassumealittlethatifsomeonehasneverbrokenaboneintheirlifethattheyhavelivedinquiteashelteredway? The author reminds us too of taking the time to slow down, to allow ourselves to feel both the joys, and the sorrows, and of the importance of having the courage of standing alone. The phrase “cry the tears you were never allowed to cry” resonated with me. Here I was thinking I was the only one not allowed to cry. We all have our different interpretations of this phrase i’m sure, but how did Foster know. It’s like he knows ME! This book has taught me new things, and reminded me of things I already knew, but forgot. One of the most powerful aspects of "I Was Never Broken Vol 3" is how relatable it is. The emotions that the author describes are universal. You'll find yourself nodding along in recognition and feeling like you're not alone in your struggles. The book is a reminder that everyone has their own battles to fight, but that there is always hope for a better tomorrow.
