Jump-It Wipeout consists of a sweep arm which is rotated by a central motorised unit. The aim is to jump, skip or hop over the arm as it comes round and avoid being ‘wiped out’. What I love about the Stay Active range is that we enjoy the toys in the range as much as the kids do. The Jump-It Wipe-Out especially so as both hubby and I used to love watching the show together. With Easter just around the corner, the boys were sent the @barracudas_activity_day_camps new camp kit in preparation for the school holidays. Our kitchen isn’t the biggest, but we still have room to play Jump-it Wipe Out! and have a laugh at the same time! Well as they say, time flies when you’re having fun - except replace having fun with “being a mum” and you’ll find that in the blink of an eye the baby of the family has hit double digits. Best to visit by car, nearest stations are 3/4 miles away (Boxhill & Westhumble, Bookham and Dorking)
A lot of fun, the Jump-It Wipe-Out had us big kids laughing and the kids squealing in delight. And trust me, after 20 minutes jumping over that bar, your legs and bum will feel it! Challenge Mode - Things begin to heat up, as you jump the sweep jump bar speed increases faster and faster!
M has been living in his @TheRealTomGates pyjamas recently, and I think he might wear these when his World Book Day dress-up day comes around (the school celebrate with Book Week rather than just Book Day) The different settings and modes mean you can adjust this for younger kids to play or ramp it for older kids who really want a challenge. I love that the Stay Active range can be used both indoors and outdoors and I am sure the kids will get a lot of use out of it no matter the weather! The unit talks to you at points in the game and it also plays music, but we found this a little bit muffled on our carpet and we were generally too focused on the game to listen. The beat of the music probably helps you find a rhythm if you listen though. The Stay Active Range is great for assisting in reducing childhood obesity and mental health issues. These toys make it easier for parents to get their children active and reduce screen time because they are so much fun!The boys had a lovely afternoon at @wahaca Southbank today. As well as munching on some delicious mexcian style street food, they also had the opportunity to paint sugar skulls ready for #DiaDeLosMuertos
Reverse – The jump bar will change direction from time to time to keep you on your toes and to create an even harder challenge. Jump-It Wipeout is a great game that has provided so much fun for the boys and their friends. They have both loved competing to see who can outjump the foam bar. It’s kept them away from screens over half-term, which is always a good thing. As soon as the arm hits you the game stops. Even on the fastest speed it doesn’t hurt because the arm is covered in pool noodle type material. The way the arm is attached to the unit means it is easy to remove for storage, but it also means that if you accidentally land on the arm it will disconnect and shouldn’t be damaged. The boys have been fans of Tom Gates for a while now. M has always loved reading books that make him laugh and contain humour - they tend to keep him engaged in reading. We had so much fun on the after-dark twilight trail @polesdenlaceynt last week. The boys loved carrying lanterns for part of the trail.
