About this deal

If it’s clarity you are after, the Titan S are better options. For those preferring warmth and easier listneing, the Dunu Kima are more suitable. Treble RegionI find the treble to have a tasteful rise that doesn’t feel forced in any way. This is a good thing. Some iem makers really push this end of the mix and many problems can arise. Instead, I found that Dunu added a good amount of air to the mix which helps the Dunu Kima Classic to have an open sound up top and an overall pleasant tonality across the frequency. Dunu took the Kima Classic right to the brink of where “non-offensive” lives and stopped just short of a fatiguing replay. I am looking for IEMs that will make it easy to hear footsteps and game audio clearly and precisely. The cable is standard IEM fare these days with clear, rubber-coated, silver-plated copper strands in a 4-wire Litz weave pattern. The metal 3.5mm plug, y-split, and chin slider are all mirror-finished. The 0.78mm, 2-pin connectors are constructed from angled clear plastic; one is color-coded red to identify the right side. use not following the ‘User Guide’ or any additional safety, use, or warnings included in the product materials.

However, the Titan S can sound too sterile at times, and the midrange shoutiness can be a bother – two issues the Dunu Kima avoid. I also find the Kima to have better build and accessories in general. The Kima aren’t the most spacious or open-sounding IEMs, but they don’t suffer from piercing sibilance or veiled muddiness. They walk that middle line of just bright enough to sound reasonably crisp and lively without extending particularly high into the airier registers. Where to Buy Technicalities-wise, they both have similar imaging, separation and coherency performance but T2 DLC has a bit wider sound/speaker stage. As for detail retrieval, T2 DLC has edgier and sharper definition compared to a more balanced Kima. The Kima Classic is a sub- bass focused IEM, with bass just north of neutral. There's a slight rumble when the music calls for it, though this set is not a bona fide basshead IEM. The Kima Classic has excellent bass quality - with a rapid bass that is textured, with minimal mid-bass bleed.

Difference Between Kima & Kima Classic

Damage due to user negligence, accidents, disassembly, waterlog, misuse, abuse, alterations or vandalism. Both devices have similar build quality as they have metal alloy shell chassis. They even have the same transducers which are dynamic drivers but the difference was materials as Aria's diaphragm is made of LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) while KIMA uses a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) which is a bit better. It has a lesser amount of inclusions too. Midrange InstrumentsFor the most part instruments come across well defined. This is a V-shaped iem and the midrange is smoother than sharp. Resolution is nice for a V-shape, but isn’t perfect, and this can cause a few minor clarity issues as far as instrumentation is concerned. For the most part though, instruments all sound organic and pretty darn clean.

Resolution capability-wise, it has a solid macro-dynamics and satisfactory micro-detail retrieval. It has rather a balanced resolution that I can't categorise as either sharp or blunted. Tonal colour of KIMA is more organic with a hint of brightness. Difference Between Kima & Kima ClassicWhy make a Classic Version? During the process of research and development on the Kima, with some personalized modifications, the sound becomes more suitable for pop music. In terms of sound aesthetics, The sound of the Kima Classic will have a new, fresh flavor. The main difference between the Kima and Kima Classic is the more pronounced lower end and enhanced high-frequency region as well. But the overall changes are throughout the frequency band, it has a cleaner and transparent signature as the OG Kima. Treble RegionThe DKC and the Olina share many similarities in the treble region. Both sets offer an above average detail performance with good clarity and bite. I’d say the Olina has a touch more bite, however. The DKC sounds a hint more smoothed over. However, the Olina does sound as though it has the greater treble emphasis of the two. Likely due to the bass emphasis on the DKC. The Olina sounds a bit snappier. Then again, the DKC has the more non-offensive treble which makes it much easier for long listening. The Olina has a bit more punch, but the DKC has the smoother treble. Both have a nice emphasis and both treble regions positively affect the entire mix. Based on my initial testing of the previous products of Dunu, It seems that Dunu isn't keen too much on technical aspects, rather they evidently concentrate more on tonal balancing. And I expected, technical performance of DUNU KIMA will be rather average to above average. CONCLUDING REMARKSThe Dunu Kima are competent in terms of tuning, come with excellent accesories, have a great build, and the price is not too absurd.I heard, that the thing I should be choosing IEMs based on the graph, but I have no idea what I am looking for in the graph. You must return an item in the same condition as it was received. You must also include, in the same condition as it was received: KIMA has got a premium design with its matte-finished metallic ear cavities.
