It felt so familiar and it really did hit close to home because it was SO relatable. I could see myself in that position where I move to a different place far away from my family and you drift apart from your loved ones. The Irish setting of the story is whimsical and cozy just how I would imagine it, I wish Walsh added more detail and created an atmosphere for readers to relish. Overall, the story has a beautiful message about family, friendship, and love. Particularly the love between sisters, which was by far the most beautiful part. I adored this story. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I read it in one sitting. It’s simple, light-hearted, and fun.
