About this deal

Miles is a rich, successful tech entrepreneur who has learned he has a terminal illness that can be passed down. It never lets up’ STEPHEN KING ‘Insanely paced, wildly entertaining’ JOE HILL ‘A full-throttle powerhouse of a thriller – Linwood Barclay is in a class of his own’ T. It makes for a good vacation read as it doesn't require your full concentration but yet it manages to hold your interest.

Miles secretly has a DNA test done on his brother and is relieved to know that he is clear of the potential disease. The cinematic narrative makes it perfect for video adaptation, but don't wait for the movie or the series. In 2004, he launched his mystery series about an anxiety-ridden, know-it-all, pain-in-the-butt father by the name of Zack Walker. Again and again, he creates inner dialogues and brief, telling details that make the dubiously lucky “heirs” seem like people we know.A ton of action in the last quarter or so of the story but it felt lackluster because I didn't like the direction the author went in. In Elevator Pitch , he surpasses himself with a premise suited for the big screen, a plot filled with stunning surprises--and an ending that leaves the reader greatly satisfied. He thinks he has been caught red-handed at his con game, but in reality things are much worse for him than he realises.

She takes Miles to meet Todd, and they are dismayed to discover that he has disappeared without a trace. And when his heirs start getting picked off one-by-one, Miles has to figure out wassup while he still can. While I enjoy those to a degree, Barclay uses a more spine-tingling approach to present his stories, one that keeps the reader guessing and tripping over all the twists. Now, he wants to know if he is actually a father-so he can track down the biological children he passed his bad genes to, and make it up to them, with 💰. Now, he is adamant that he must discover the names and location of those children who were born with his help.Chloe Swanson, an aspiring film documentarian, knows that her mother used a New York sperm bank to become pregnant twenty-two years ago. Barclay has filled this thriller with well-drawn, memorable characters, fast paced action and unpredictable twists. Miles Cookson is a high-tech billionaire and it’s doubtful he could ever spend all of his money, even if he were to live out a normal life span.
