About this deal

Finally note the additional pockets for storage on the back of both seats, as well as the easy to use step breaks for each side of the Maclaren Twin Techno Stroller. The seats are also independent, so your toddler can sit up while your newborn sleeps if necessary (and no arguing). The Maclaren Twin Triumph is a good-value, quality pushchair that’s light, compact and easy to manoeuvre. However, these aren’t really essentials, and the Triumph is around 2kg lighter, which is a definite bonus as a double buggy is always going to be challenging to lift in and out of the car, or up and down flights of stairs.

While it doesn’t have all the extras of its sibling, the Twin Techno, it is lighter and certainly does the job, for twin or siblings, especially in urban settings. The best thing is that they fold up small enough to go through a standard airport security X-ray machine! The wheels have both fixed and swivel mobility, allowing for easy navigation through various terrains. The only downside is that tall parents report kicking the rear middle set of wheels when pushing this stroller, which is not a problem for the G-Link.To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Featuring a full recline 4-position seats with convenient one-handed adjustment, extendable legrest and built-in Newborn Safety System.

It seems to work great and I can open it for Ava, even when Ella, my picky two year old, thinks that she doesn’t want it open! When I first travelled with one of my babies, back in 2004 when Hedley was five months old, I myself invested in a Mac because I needed something light and easy to take onto the plane. All Maclaren buggies have all-wheel suspension, designed to provide effortless steering qualities and a supersmooth ride.

Proudly protecting little ones from the elements with our waterproof and UPF 50+ expandable hood with built-in sunvisor. This stroller also has a pocket on the back of each canopy that is easy to use and holds easy access items (above right).

Suitable for families where both children have special needs and need a mobility aid or where one older child has special needs and also need to transport a younger sibling. Maclaren seems to take great care in choosing materials and components that work well together and connect securely to form a sturdy final product. The best part was our little reviewers were comfortable and happy in it, and liked having company sitting next to them. This won’t be the deciding factor for most parents, but it doesn’t hurt that the Maclaren Twin Techno looks great and is available in a variety of great colors. I want one for my double trouble team but not sure if they both could ride in it based on weight … Love it!

The Twin Techno is a good option for parents with twins or two babies of different ages looking for a lightweight, maneuverable, and collapsible stroller for their family. While it’s great that it’s slim enough to fit through a doorway, the drawback is that the seats are on the narrow side, which could be a bit of a squeeze for older children. The straps have a convoluted back and forth threading system that will leave you frustrated and tempted to go with "good enough," and the buckle is so stiff two hands doesn't feel like enough pressure to open it. We will continue to keep this review up a while longer for those who already own it, or those who are able to purchase it secondhand.
