I live in Bristol and I knew all the landmarks, streets of the areas this author used in this book, it trebled the enjoyment for me as I could recognise these areas in my minds eye. Very impactful.A wife convicted of her husbands death, serving her time in prison and at the end on her release hiding watching the funeral of her spouse from afar, not only that, her sons too who she’s unable to communicate with. The tentative steps she takes to form new relationships with people she meets but also to leave behind habits from prison and also the appreciation of things once considered every day routine!
