About this deal

Jax has done it, the pills and the drinking has caused him to spiral out of control and he ended up humiliating himself in public and now his team has hired Elena a PR specialist to babysit him and make sure he doesn't get into trouble. Elena is the type of heroine I love: clever, charming, cunning. She gives as good as she gets with Jax and will not allow him to treat her as less than she deserves. the mental health representation in the dirty air series blows me away each time. it’s amazing to see characters who are relatable on that aspect and so so important when jax planned a fundraiser to help people with alzheimer’s disease in honor of elena’s grandma and he let elena do the makeup challenge on him as she used to watch on youtube I grab onto his hand and drag him into the storm. The rain beats against our skin as I play a random song on my phone. Caleb grabs my hand and spins me around.”

I open my room to find another race car next to my bed. “Oh my God.” Multiple nightlights offer me guidance toward my bathroom, where I find the final lit nightlight.” The melody wraps around us as I play the song for her again. When I get to the second chorus, I amp it up, adding more notes. My fingers dance across the keys as Elena watches me. I wouldn’t want it any other way. Live a messy life with me, Jax Kingston. I want chaos. I want darkness. I want sunshine and rainstorms with you. But most of all, I want you any way I can have you because I love you.” The things that they did for each other were so sweet! Elena filled his Xanax bottle with little notes that she had written so he could choose that instead of a pill, and Jax bought her nightlights to help with her fear of the dark and nightmares. I loved it when he got his friends to agree to do the make-up challenge with him because she loved to watch the videos while also supporting a charity. I loved the way that they did the smallest gestures for each other while also helping one another.Elena Gonzalez is a PR agent and had worked closely with Liam previously. Now, a year later, she is hired by McCoy once again, except this time, she is contracted to be a private PR rep for Jax Kingston due to his most recent actions of passing out in a club restroom. She is to be with him for the season to keep an eye on him and to help make his presence in the media positive. But there is a catch she must be with Jax at all times, including living together. He pushes against her at every turn when she intervenes and tries to help him. Only she doesn't know what she's up against. All she knows is that he is struggling with something mentally in which he keeps a secret from everyone, even his closest friends. The more time that Jax spends with Elena, the more he realizes that he wants to know more about her. But how close is he willing to let her get? Will he let her get close enough to him that he shows his most vulnerable moments and the secrets he hides away from the world? when they were playing escape room in the dark (with liam noah sophie and maya) and elena was scared of the dark An author of romance novels, Lauren Asher is well-regarded for writing emotional and engaging stories that really draw the reader in. Filling her books with angst and steam, she immerses her audience in her richly interwoven worlds that instantly grab the reader. Imaginative and compelling on every level, she perfectly understands her audience, knowing just where she wants to take them. This approach of hers has seen her become enormously successful worldwide, reaching a variety of different readers both nationally and internationally. I don’t need a happy ending. I need our ending. The one that might be messy and imperfect, but exclusively ours."

I only ever perform in front of Mum, but playing for Elena is invigorating. A moment I want to keep, unwilling to part ways with cheering her up. To erase the pain in her face even if it’s only for a few minutes.” The things that they did for each other were so sweet! I loved the way that they did the smallest gestures for each other while also helping o Lauren, keep doing what you did with this book because you nailed it! I enjoyed this so much more than the first two books. There weren't any moments that made me cringe. The writing in this and the way that she portrayed depression and anxiety was beautiful.Looks like you got upgraded from PR rep to glorified babysitter. I’ve always wanted to live out that fantasy. Care to roleplay?” She taps her manicured hand on her knee.

vera’s speech. someone get this woman a “worlds best mom” mug asap. her being a motherly figure to elena makes my heart so freaking happy 🥹💝 this quote: “𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬.” is one of my favorite from the whole book. she’s so wise and so so strong. i love that this quote pretty much sums up the underlying theme of the whole book as well Being the heir to his family’s media empire, Declan is the CEO of a major legacy, but his grandfather’s will stipulates that he must marry and have an heir of his own. His assistant Iris then volunteers for the job, and the position seems simple at first; get married and have a baby together. They’re not supposed to fall in love, that is until a passion between them both begins to grow, one that they desperately try to fight off. Will they both end up together finally, is Declan going to continue his family’s legacy, and just what are the terms and conditions?Side Note The book is really long (well for me it was) and because of that I felt like some scenes were being dragged. And then towards the end I was hoping we could have gotten a little MORE insight on Jax & Elena's life way ahead in the future, maybe 6-10 years, how it was in Collided. Like how they have been coping up with everything after so many years. What are they doing now etc etc. Lauren Asher truly is an amazing writer! The way she wrote this story was beautiful. I loved Jax and Elena. My heart is with them. I think Liam is still my favorite Dirty Air boy though, however I think this is my favorite book, definitely my favorite story because it was so touching and real. Liam though, he was amazing and he continued to show that amazingness in this book. Seeing him worry and trying to be there for Jax, no matter how much he pushed him way *sigh*. I just legit love this whole gang SOOO much. I love that we get to see so much of everyone in each book. I'm dying for Santi, have been since book 1 but gosh I can't wait to see where Lauren takes his story and to learn who the heroine will be.

Always looking out for exciting new ideas to help inspire her next novel, she’s always taking inspiration from the world around her. Visiting numerous different restaurants in her spare time, she’s got an active imagination when it comes to creating different novels. Still writing to this day, she’s got a busy schedule with more books and series planned for release in the near future. Jax broke my heart multiple times throughout his story, but it wasn’t always avoidable. You can tell how much research Lauren has put into writing something so relatable with illness and mental health that you can’t help but feel everything the characters feel. You experience that pain with them. You don’t want them to suffer, you want to take their pain away. But like in real life, nothing is ever smooth sailing and I think Lauren did a fantastic job of staying true to real life situations and experiences that this story is only a testament to her writing capability. This book… wow. WOW. I finished it and was speechless, I would’ve taken another full length book about their future! I loved seeing the other couples from the previous books and I loved how they become a family— ✨️ A FOUND FAMILY ✨️ Loved Liam and Jax's friendship so much and Caleb and Jax's funny and sweet dynamics. I loved how supportive and loving Jax's family was to Elena and how Elena finally found her own family and friends. The best character in this series and I love her so much. She is confident and strong minded even though she had a traumatic past and fears but she never let those slow her down. She's a badass and but she has the softest and kindest soul. She really is an angel considering how Jax treated her but she never treated him badly. Not once and not even when he broke her heart. Elena and I could be besties in real life knowing how rain comforts her. She's one of the best FMC I've ever read about in a book and there is not a single thing I hate about her. The little things she did for Jax and the way she never let him go even though she knew what they'll have to face in the future. She deserves the world and all the happiness. Jax and Elena have had traumatic experiences in their life. Elena lost both of her parents at the young age of twelve, and Jax's mom was diagnosed with an illness when he was young and he fears it being passed onto him, causing him to suffer with anxiety. It wasn't until Jax wanted to be better for not just himself but her as well that their relationship started to form slowly. The ending was bittersweet but indeed a beautiful one. I cried when when Jax broke her heart and when he thought he doesn't deserve the future with her because of his diagnosis. I loved how Elena agreed to be always with him no matter what happens in their future. They deserve all the love and happiness and that epilogue— I LOVED IT 🫶
