About this deal

Deeply looking forward to seeing what she will do next and appreciate how she takes matters into her own hands. C’était une lecture absolument génial et j’ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à me plonger dans cette histoire. Aware of the tragic future ahead of her and determined to change it, the young girl resolves to conquer the game's final boss, the "Demon King" and Cedric's half-brother, Claude Jeanne Elmir, by making him fall in love with her instead. Aileen a un sacré caractère, quand elle veut quelque chose elle le veut et fera tout pour arriver à ses fins. It mutilates characters, emphasizes purity culture, and the perp gets away with it with barely a slap on the wrist.

On a donc de l’humour, des personnages haut en couleurs, une intrigue hyper intéressante, bref c’est parfait. Pour finir, la relation entre Aileen et Claude est très agréable, elle évolue doucement et c’était trop bien! My main issue lies with the antagonist as their motives never were the clearest, and kind of seemed a little shallow, but overall, the cast was great.Aileen now possesses 2 holy swords, the swords combined into one giving the sword a massive power boost. Though the setup is superficially similar to this year's excellent 'Trapped in a Dating Sim', what develops is much less impressive: like a winning chess position, except every piece is slightly misplaced. Some humans do acknowledge that Claude and his demons do some good, and agree to take on the job offered by Aileen of repairing Claude’s castle. To be honest I dont have many complaints when it comes to the side characters either, other than designs.

Taming the Final Boss' is a mildly enjoyable diversion at best: it's an uninspired romantic comedy in an uninspired fantasy setting with a convoluted premise, a badly rushed plot, and lackluster romance and comedy. What a pain in the ass because I would’ve preferred if she was just some dumb, unimportant female lead.

Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita

This is an unoriginal, but very well-executed take on the tropey reincarnated-as-the-villainous genre. Scum Cedric and trashy Lilia have not only humiliated Aileen, but have stolen her self-started business as well!I’ve been reading a lot of Korean ones lately (which are really, really good but not published as hard copies) so this one is a pleasant change. But time is running out, and it is up to Aileen to change the course of not only her tragic ending but Claude's as well.
