I also loved hanging out with Violet and her endearing classmates as they interned in the fashion world. I don’t know much about fashion but it was fun exploring that world with them and watching them design pieces for their contest. Here for the Drama drew me in instantly with its snarky wit and refreshingly sweet and nerdy hero. This tale of love, friendship, and the pursuit of dreams mixes sizzling chemistry with heaps of A+ banter into a read that is sure to charm readers!"—Anna E. Collins, author of Love At First Spite Origin and meaning of slave by Online Etymology Dictionary". etymonline.com . Retrieved 15 March 2021. Fashion, spectacular sightseeing in Italy, marvelous food, chilled Prosecco, explosive chemistry between characters - such a powerful romance blended with enemies-to-lovers and forced proximity, sunshine-meets-grump tropes, reminding us of the Italian version of "Emily in Paris" as "Violet in Rome": this is the recipe for the best romcom! Kate Bromley has discovered the formula for joy. That’s the only explanation for how much CIAO FOR NOW made me laugh, grin ear to ear, and—most importantly—swoon. The banter! The gorgeous Roman setting and deep dive into the fashion world! The enemies-to-lovers tension between Violet and Matt! (Did I mention the banter?) It's everything a reader could want. Bromley is a romantic comedy genius and this is her best book yet."No one in this conversation seems to know that there are lots of different ways to say goodbye in English. If you love reading books that leave you with a smile on your face when you finish, then Ciao for Now is the PERFECT book for you! Bromley’s most recent book was so breezy, fun, and heartwarming! I’ve definitely added Rome to my short list of places I want to visit thanks to this book! 🇮🇹 One of my favorite parts about the story though was that Violet is somewhat older than her classmates and has returned to school to find her passion. Her journey to Rome is also a journey of self discovery.

ciao for now - English definition, grammar, pronunciation

I have read all three of Kate’s books. She always delivers an adorable rom com that I can’t put down. Because I’m dying to see these scenes play out in real life! I’ll start by admitting that I binged this book within 24 hours, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. This might be Kate’s best book yet. It was fun, witty, captivating and lovable. It’s the perfect amount of grumpy-sunshine, enemies to lovers. And hear me out: it’s Emily in Paris meets When in Rome (yes the Mary Kate and Ashley one) with a hint of Lizzie McGuire, and The Devil Wears Prada. Bromley doesn’t miss a beat with this international enemies-to-lovers contemporary... This will be just as much of a treat for armchair travelers as it is for hopeless romantics." This started great! very funny. I liked how the story evolved. The chemistry between Violet and Matteo is amazing.

The dialogue is witty and engaging - it’s the kind of conversation that makes you forget you’re reading a book and not standing right there listening to the conversation! The supporting characters - ALL OF THEM. This is one of the best supporting casts of characters I’ve read in a while. They’re all SO FUN. I really liked Violet and Matt’s chemistry and flow of the story was great, however, the ending left me wanting more The chemistry between Violet and Matteo sizzles from the start. I really enjoyed their meet-cute disaster and their grumpy/sunshine dynamic. Their initial hostility combined with the forced proximity gave this an enemies-to-lovers vibe that I couldn’t resist. Violet’s immature nature for someone her age - I know she’s in a growth period in her life, but she (and sometimes Matt) read as early twenties to me instead of late twenties/early thirties. In my opinion, the author was trying a bit too hard to make her *~quirky~*. Hands down a standing ovation from me!” —Suzanne Park, author of So We Meet Again, on Here for the Drama

Ciao For Now The Baking Bookworm: Ciao For Now

Enemies to lovers: After a meet-cute gone wrong, Violet and Matteo have an enemies-to-lovers vibe going on for a hot minute Unfortunately, on her first day, her coffee run turns into a disastrous meeting with a cute guy - she ends up destroying a brooding stranger's laptop. Her Americano treat and several apologies don't solve the matter. Then she realizes this man is not a stranger - he's the sulking son of a professor and he lives a few feet away from her in the same apartment. Romance in Rome??? A broody hero???
