About this deal

Many brands fail to provide the frequencies you can expect, and even if they do, they often overpromise and underdeliver. But that’s not all. There are plenty of other benefits of vibration therapy, many of which we’ve learned from using massage guns. However, we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet the entire Wave Series is, including the Solo. So, overall, noise shouldn’t be a major issue with this device, and you should be able to enjoy a relatively peaceful massage experience.

You can choose between warm-up, recovery, and wellness routines, and even get suggestions for specific rolling exercises for different ailments like shoulder pain, carpal tunnel, or shin splints. The wave grooves on the texture are shallow and generic, perhaps only 2mm deep, but they help with traction, ensuring you won’t slip on this thing. Yes, they are! if you’re looking to take your recovery game to the next level, then a vibrating foam roller is worth the investment. This isn’t something that I can truly do with a massage gun. And yes, I can do it with a foam roller, but the grainier material also pinches and hurts. None of that is an issue with the Wave Duo. We already know the Wave Roller had a lot to offer. Is the Therabody Wave Duo different? Well, let’s find out in this Theragun Wave Duo review, shall we?

Customer reviews

The Apple Watch app for the Wave Roller is a simple on/off remote control. Whilst very limited in functionality, it IS handy to be able to stop/pause/start the roller from your wrist rather than reaching for a larger phone device. On the Apple Watch SE, I didn’t get the ‘force’ option that the app store suggested would be available (image below). The illustrated sessions in the app are really helpful for showing you how to correctly target certain spots. Therabody When it comes to noise, the Wave Solo is a pretty quiet device, especially compared to some of its competitors like the Hyperice Hypersphere. While regular foam rollers are great for self-myofascial release 1, vibrating foam rollers are a bit more special. They have numerous benefits because they vibrate, and this offers localized vibration therapy where certain sections of the body are targeted. It’s the same idea as massage guns, but today we’ll focus on foam rollers. This means it can easily be stored in a bag, taken on a plane, and is highly portable. So, whether you’re on-the-go or just want to use it at home, the Wave Solo is a great option.

The foam roller has 5 powerful vibration frequencies which can be adjusted to your comfort personal comfort levels. These vibrations can help release soreness, reduce tension, increase your range of motion, and improve movement in general. The Wave Duo definitely a nice addition to a soft-foam roller, although this one is more aggressive due to the shape and firm texture. Vibration settings can be adjusted to your comfort level to help release soreness, reduce tension, and improve movement. How do we know this? We used a laser tachometer to measure the vibrations of all three devices. We measured 3200rpm max. The Theragun Wave Duo belongs to Therabody’s Wave Series family of devices, aimed at aiding post-workout recovery. Now, we’ve talked about the app before, and let us tell you, it’s a real game-changer. Not only is it beautifully designed, but it also has over 30 built-in massage routines to choose from.

AHH, THE classic vibrating foam roller. It’s been around for several years now, and in that time, it’s become a training staple, a tough piece of foam that kneads at tight muscles while delivering pain-dulling vibrations, too. One minor issue we have with the Wave Solo is that the flat area is almost 1.5 inches, so the ball won’t roll so easily when it stands on that flat part. But it’s not a major issue, and in fact, it’s the only one we have with this product. We also found a soft and simple pouch that is easy to carry around. It’s a great alternative to a hard case, especially since the device is durable and not easily breakable. Here are what is included alongside the Therabody Wave Duo roller.
