About this deal

I will caution that this bag is cosy in the other sense; I'm 6'3" and 85kg, the absolute upper height limit of this bag, it's difficult for a tall person to really hunker down in. Also the fit seems restrictive a first but you soon get used to it and it supports the body and feet quite nicely. The best part about cycling is that you need very little to get going. There are a number of must-have pieces of equipment such as a helmet, high visibility clothing and lights, but apart from this small group, you don’t need anything extra. Three season bags are often a compromise between fill, features and price; In the case of the UltraLite Pro 200 Vango have achieved a very good balance for the price. At list price it's amongst the best value for money 3 season bags around and at street price it comes into entry-level territory, where it's a real bargain. Perfect for: first time youth campers, festival goers, and recommended by the DofE and Scouts Association Polair® Active Shell - 20D Nylon fabric for a warm and compressible fabric which is water and tear resistant

But what do you need to look out for when shopping for cycling gear? What are the best brands? What kit is really necessary? Do you really need it? Our advice is to take your time studying factors like the reputation of the brand, the materials used to manufacture the product and also comparing it to other products of a similar price in the Sleeping Bags category. Safety should always come first. You should never skimp when buying bicycle gear because it could one day save your life. You (hopefully) would never cut corners on your helmet, so you shouldn’t act any differently to the rest of your gear.In a line: The Montane Prism is a well-featured sleeping bag that won’t let you down and is one of the best synthetic sleeping bags on the market. It uses '4T' insulation with tri-lateral construction - an independently floating layer of insulation not compressed by stitching, which reduces cold spots and increases core temperature. Perfect for: Gap year travellers and those camping in conditions that may attract insects and bacteria. Whatever you might be buying for your cycling trips, it’s important to do your research. Afterall, cycling can be dangerous if improperly or inadequately equipped, so it’s vital that your gear is safe and high quality. Outdoor enthusiasts have trusted Vango's quality camping and outdoor equipment since the company was established in 1963. They started off in Scotland and Vango in fact gets its name from a rearrangement of 'Govan'– the area in Glasgow where they first began. Now an internationally respected brand, they design their expedition kit to be hard wearing and long lasting, whilst always keeping performance and comfort in mind.

This is a very simple but very important question. You may have heard the old adage ‘all the gear and no idea’. This concept is very much applicable to new riders that want to make sure that they have everything they need before their first trip on the pedals. Finding the right sleeping bag can be an admittedly overwhelming task – What fill do I need? Which shape suits me best? What size is right for me? There are many factors to take into consideration, but don’t fret! Whether you’re camping atop the summit of a storm-tossed Munro or have found the perfect spot on a sparkling white beach to watch the sun set into the ocean, we have the perfect sleeping bag at hand. Our Nitestar range offers the user a combination of performance, quality and affordability. The bags mummy-shape means it will work efficiently when it comes to keeping the body warm; it also boasts a double layer of insulation for even more heat, making the bag ideal for camping in cold climates. There are bags within this range that will suit those camping in mild spring temperatures, frosty winter nights, and everywhere in-between. The range includes bags designed for both tall and short campers alike, ensuring you won’t wake up with frostbite from the waist up (or lost in your own sleeping bag!) Omega' shaping: ergonomically shaped to fit around head and shoulders, positions zips and seams in the lower section of the bag The Prism has a lower comfort rating of 0C, so it should cope with most situations you would find yourself in while on UK adventures, especially taking into consideration the impressive hood and baffles.
