About this deal

The young woman who’d accused him went missing and the charges were dropped, but his personal and professional life are still in a mess.

Grimson joined the Royal Navy in 1978 and by the time of his conviction for murder, he was the rank of Petty Officer (PO). He had served aboard HMS Illustrious and was a trainer in fire fighting techniques whilst based at HMNB Portsmouth. [3] Whilst being questioned by police, Grimson admitted that he scoured the ranks of trainees and cadets (that passed through HMS Excellent on the courses that he instructed on) so that he could dominate and kill the best looking ones. Where to watch

THE LANGSTONE HARBOUR MURDERS: The head mistress of a Portsmouth school is found brutally murdered on an old structure in the middle of Langstone Harbour. Detective Andy Horton of Portsmouth CID leads the investigation. Police are also speculating that there are other unknown victims and believe that as Grimson killed people on the twelfth of December each year, that there could be a range between 11 [15] and 20 unidentified victims at Grimson's hands. [16]

At the trial, Mr Justice Cresswell told Grimson "You are a serial killer in nature if not in number. You are a highly dangerous serial killer who killed two young men in horrifying circumstances." [4] Other victims [ edit ]

Newton, Michael (2006). The encyclopedia of serial killers (2nded.). New York: Facts On File. p.352. ISBN 0-8160-6195-5. But then another body is found and Horton is forced to confront the past. Not just the victim’s, but the mystery surrounding his own mother’s disappearance over thirty years ago. As the pieces of the puzzle begin to unravel, it becomes clear that Horton is up against a deadly adversary who will stop at nothing to prevent the truth from coming out. Can Horton catch a killer and find out what happened to his mother all those years ago? Another man was seen running down the street nearby at about 11am carrying two bags, a Sainsbury's bag and an airline holdall. Reports suggest the blast from petrol vapours could be heard more than two miles away and the pub’s sign and a chimney were all that remained. The last person to see Mr Schallamach alive, "by his own admission", was Kenneth Regan, police said.
