I find the ink to be relatively fast drying & hard to smudge, although it will bleed through lesser quality paper, especially if the tip lingers. Shorter than that currently advertised, each rectangular-shaped, rigid plastic-type highlighter is around 12 cm long overall on my measure x around 2.5 cm wide x around 1 cm deep.
