The foil shaver attachment is used for shaving the small areas after detailing. It makes close shaves in narrow areas. To look after a long beard, you’ll need to give it consistent care and attention. As with stubble, regular washing is key. Make sure to cleanse your beard thoroughly using a gentle beard shampoo or cleanser. This will effectively remove dirt, debris, and excess oils without stripping away the natural oils that keep your beard healthy. There are also two hair combs that pop on top of this trimmer head. You can adjust their position in relation to the trimmer head to decrease or increase the trim length of hair. One of the combs will trim from 3-11mm and the other will trim from 13-21mm. It's a powerful trimmer. I tested it on 3 months of head hair and 6 months of beard hair and it powered through without so much as a whimper. I understand that is not the intended use of these trimmers, but I wanted to give it a solid test.
