Later it was firmly established to be a superpower given to her by a magic comet. In A Sitch in Time, he's a Future Badass, having been turned into a bulky and hulking bodyguard for Shego who is more than capable of going toe-to-toe with Kim and future Monique and besting them both. Especially impressive considering he would probably be in his seventies by that point.
