About this deal

Maltesers Teaser", chocolate coated miniature balls in a bar format, available since March 26, 2013. [14]

With Christmas just a couple of months away (yep I can’t believe i just wrote that either!) this Malteser and Mars Bar Fudge would make the perfect gift for teachers, friends, family and even Santa would probably enjoy a slice of two when he stops to visit! Chocolate orange cupcakes – some more delicious cupcakes, these ones are for those who love a mix of chocolate and orange This easy, no-bake chocolate Malteser slice is chewy and fudgy with crunchy Maltesers throughout. It’s topped with milk chocolate and even more Maltesers. It’s the perfect, easy slice recipe for anyone who loves chocolate. Remove the Malteser slice from the fridge and pour over the melted chocolate. Decorate the top with crushed Maltesers. Golden Syrup. It’s really worth finding the golden syrup if you can – it has a unique flavour. Corn syrup, honey or maple syrup could also be used but the flavour would be different.Maltesers cheesecake – Malteser recipes are divine and this one is no exception. If your Malteser obsession hasn’t been sated by this Malteser tiffin, make this mouthwatering cheesecake Place the unsalted butter and the golden syrup into a saucepan. Melt the ingredients over a low heat. Once the liquid has started to bubble, remove from the heat and add the chopped milk and dark chocolate and stir until melted. For the chocolate on top, I like to use milk chocolate, but feel free to use your favorite. The topping is simply melted chocolate with a tiny bit of butter which makes the chocolate on top extra glossy and easier to slice. Pour the melted chocolate over the top of the firm base layer, then spread it smooth. Is there anything more beautiful than melted chocolate? If you prefer, you can melt the butter and syrup on a low heat in a saucepan on the hob and stir in the chopped-up chocolate until it all melts together. I find the microwave method is easier, but you must melt it in short bursts, stirring in between every time, to prevent the chocolate from burning and becoming grainy. Peanut butter and pecan brownies – brownies don’t get much more wonderfully indulgent. Absolutely irresistible!

One of the defining features of Maltesers is not only that they’re as moreish as anything can be, but that they’re so delightfully round. It’s a simple touch, but a thoroughly enjoyable one! The process of how they end up so round is a totally mesmerising one, too. Well, the malty centres are cooked in little balls which are then coated in chocolate using a technique called ‘panning’. This involves the centres being tumbled constantly in a pan as melted chocolate is added to coat them. Both the speed and the amount of chocolate has to be carefully monitored to make sure the Maltesers come out just the way we like them. Malteser" redirects here. Add the melted butter, chocolate and syrup mixture to a bowl, followed by the digestives and Maltesers (leave a few aside to decorate the top). Mix together well. For the Topping: In a different bowl place the milk and dark chocolate and melt in the microwave on 30 second blasts until fully melted. Pour over the top of the tiffin mixture and level out. Note: It’s important to melt chocolate very slowly over low heat to ensure the chocolate melts. If you ty to melt chocolate on high heat, it can end up baking and get grainy instead of smooth. Spread the mixture into a lined 20cm square tin or small roasting tray, pushing it into the corners and making the top as even as possible. I tend not to have them in the house for that very reason, but very occasionally I will buy a box and stash it away to make this amazing no bake Malteser slice.
