The illustrations are old school and so cute. I love that the Rabbit family all wear clothes and Mrs. Rabbit is just a darling, caring mama. The author put in some long imaginative words in the book. The illustrations in this book are really top notch, all the way down to all of the various shades of color. My favorite part was when Mr. McGregor just gets tired and stops trying to catch Peter Rabbit. When Bill, my cat, doesn't want his bath, I adopt a similar approach and wait for a day when the stars are better aligned.
