About this deal

Running online only, the better than half price offers have been launched by Boots to help shoppers get ready for socialising this summer, but they're only available until the 18th May. The major difference between this teeth whitening kit and numerous home treatments is that the Rapid White – Blue Light kit is peroxide FREE which makes it safe to use at home without the risk of tooth sensitivity or damage to gums. Products that release or contain between 0.1% and 0.6% hydrogen peroxide have even recently become illegal to be sold in the EU. This sounds all very nice but can a peroxide free teeth whitening kit really work? Does Rapid White Work? However, if you see PAP (or phthalimido-peroxy-caproic acid) on the ingredient label, steer clear. The dentists we spoke to said this ingredient is not recommended for whitening at all due to reports of lingering sensitivity. Hydrogen peroxide, when used correctly as a whitening agent, shouldn't cause lingering sensitivity.

Pens deposit much less product onto your teeth, so can be used more frequently, but you should still aim for one to two applications per day (and limit use to one or two weeks at a time or as needed). Trays are commonly recommended for up to 30 minutes, and light kits are usually left in place for shorter periods of time, often less than 10 minutes. The duration for both varies but is usually no more than two or three weeks in total. The only downside was that the strips only cover the front six to eight of your teeth, so if you were hoping for sparkling molars, this won’t get you there. Still, you get 21 treatments, which we thought was a great value considering you’ll be seeing results in just three days. We also appreciated that this is an alternative to more chemical-based kits, which makes it a little friendlier for people with sensitive teeth. We used the products for the first time in our Verywell Testing Laband continued to use them at home according to manufacturer instructions. In the Lab and at home, we took note of how easy it was to set up and apply the product or treatment, as well as how our teeth felt before and after the treatment (e.g., if there was any sensitivity or discomfort from the appliance or device itself). Easy to use, safe and convenient, the Rapid White Blue Light is designed to be used in your own home with the minimum of fuss.I have to say I was skeptical about this product as there are so many brands that promise whiter results and in my experience, they just never deliver. Fortunately, the Rapid White Pro Clean & Polish System does! I was pleasantly surprised to have noticed a difference, however small, after just the first use. It really does work! Initially, we couldn’t leave the tray in for the recommended 15 minutes because it was so uncomfortable. But over time, we did get used to it. The best part was that our teeth whitened. Even though we only left it in for about eight minutes, our teeth went up a full shade. It hurt, but the pain was worth it in our eyes. We also started with the highest concentration possible, which we wouldn’t recommend if you have sensitive teeth or have never whitened your teeth before (in that case, you may want to start with the lowest concentration and work your way up from there).

We did find the whitening process to be slightly less comfortable; the solution was pretty tasteless, and our gums experienced some discomfort. Swallowing was also awkward because the solution can produce excess saliva, but you aren’t supposed to swallow the solution. However, the application time here is only 10 minutes, so we thought this was a totally manageable inconvenience for the amount of time needed to whiten. Overall, the whitening results were significant enough to make us recommend this product as a good choice, especially since it didn’t cause any pain or discomfort and is priced within the average range for a whitening kit. Given how much we know professional whitening costs, and remembering the pain and sensitivity we've had with other whitening products in the past, we absolutely think this is worth the price and the inconvenience for a couple of weeks. We would recommend trying the 1 week kit to see if it works for you as we all have slightly different teeth and results ma vary from person to person. For the price, it’s one of the best value teeth whitening kits you can buy. How much does Rapid White Cost?

Depending on the ingredient percentage, she adds, gels can be used for one to two hours per day for two weeks as well. If you need to visit your local Boots, you can find out your closest branch using its handy store locator here. Do your best not to develop a routine of using these products regularly,” says Dr. Izhaky, noting that overuse and misuse of whitening products can lead to dental problems. This may include tooth painand nerve damage. Rapid white Blue light tooth whitening system is not recommended for use in children under 14 years of age or individuals with gum disease, gingivitis, bleeding or severely receding gums, tooth sensitivity, pregnant or nursing mothers.Step one of the process is to attach the cleaning head to the toothbrush body and clean each tooth carefully in turn. In use, I actually found it difficult to clean one tooth at a time without the brush slipping as it has a narrow head, therefore I’d recommend using the toothbrush with both hands for precision and control. If you’re like me you’ll need to be careful around your gum line as bleeding can occur with a slip of your hand, although this should get better as your gum health and technique improves with regular use. The cleaning brush with its narrow head makes it really practical to get into those hard to reach places that a normal toothbrush would miss. The main reason to opt for a whitening pen and not a more comprehensive kit is convenience, and this pen by AuraGlow is nothing if not convenient. You won’t get mega-white brightening results here—we noted it lightens maybe a shade, at most—but you will get an easy and painless application process and the ability to easily whiten minor stains on the go. GLO Brilliant® White Smile At Home Teeth Whitening Device: Our teeth were much brighter after using this kit in testing, but the 24 minutes we had to spend walking around with an awkward device in our mouth make this a fairly inconvenient option, especially compared to less bulky competitor trays. Rapid White Easy to use, safe and convenient, the Rapid White Blue Light is designed to be used in your own home with the minimum of fuss. The bottom line is that this product can work, but only under certain circumstances. We think it’s best used for someone who wants to brighten their teeth for an event and doesn’t mind enduring some temporary abrasiveness or for someone who has pretty white teeth and wants to occasionally touch up their shade.
